West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

She knew he was trying. He was making small talk, opening up about his past at no small cost. She knew on a regular basis, Frost would never tell her these stories of his mother and where he came from. He was doing it as a caring alpha who wanted to make a connection with his pack mate. She knew it meant something. She knew that she would survive without her former pack. If anything, she worried about their survival without her. Would they continue to evolve and try to work together or were they already squabbling for more power in her absence? Had the largest coyote pack ever seen already scattered to the four winds into the smaller packs it used to consist of? Could Ceasar hold it all together? She didn't think so. She had faith in his authority but there were just too many of them and she was the enforcer because of her uncontested strength. Ceasar could hold his own against one, maybe two, but a group that wanted to rebel? She worried for his safety, if he wasn't already on the run.

Frost told her about his mother and she felt for him. Maybe it was because she didn't have a chance to see or speak to her own mother but she felt strongly about getting him reunited with his mom. It was only right. She deserved to see how far her son had come. She listened as he told her of how she was captured by hunters and that she had him in captivity. Apparently something happened during the labor and his mother became barren so he was her last chance, but Malia didn't see it that way. She shook her head. "It was more than that. She taught you cause she saw something in you. Don't sell yourself short." He looked almost surprised to have admitted that he respected his mother. Malia saw nothing wrong with it. Who doesn't like their parents? Well, she didn't even know who hers were and if they were still alive so she guessed she was an exception. He looked surprised about something she said before he started explaining hunters. So there were different kinds? Supernatural kinds? Her eyes widened. She'd never thought about it. Then she thought of the ones who shot her the night she turned for the first time. Did they know what she was or were they just shooting a coyote?

It had been bugging her that they didn't try to kill her. They shot her in the leg and tied her up and threw her in a van. Who would do that with a live coyote? Maybe for a dog fight ring or something. She'd heard of that. They use them as bait for the fight dogs. But maybe just maybe...She suddenly perked up. "Hey Frost, would you know if it was a supernatural Hunter by the weapon? I was shot when I turned the first night and I might have saved the arrow." She grimaced. She had gone digging through Henry's trash after he pulled it out of her leg. She wanted to keep it for the smell on it. The smell of the hunter. He said that the Hunters were keeping him as a pet and she curled her lip in disgust. She understood alright. She hated that word. "Why don't Were's band together and kill them Or at least drive them out of town? Surely they must outnumber the Hunters." She didn't see a point to avoiding them. Why not fix the problem and run them out? This place belonged to the supernatural creatures. She thought about what he said, her brows furrowed again and she giggled. "Wait...did you say vampires? Like with the pointy teeth who drink blood? And Fae? What the hell are those?" She'd only just found out about witches and warlocks thanks to the one who helped her fight that beast but she'd never run into anything else.

Frost looked just as disgusted about the idea of the Hunters still having his mother and what they did with the other WereHorses. He gave her a simper when she said that they needed to free her. He said he was nearly ready to do that and she caught on with a gasp of excitement. "Let me come with you! As back up! Those Hunters won't know what hit them!" The subject was then shifted to Tetradore and when she said that she'd heard he nearly killed the panther, she noted the quirked lip before Frost shrugged and said they both had a bad day. He said they were coexisting without any more fights. This made her feel better. She let out a breath of relief and nodded. She decided to let the subject go since it seemed like he was dismissing it with his final sentence. So at least she didn't have to worry about them fighting amongst themselves with her in the middle. She felt better after he assured her that Were's were better than any human and all she had to do was remember that to survive. She needed to learn how to pretend. She always spoke her mind and showed her first reaction to anything. Guess she'd have to learn a different way. He seemed to understand her need for a purpose too. He admitted his own boredom and she latched onto it. Then he started asking about recruiting members and how Ceasar went about it. Malia snorted.

"He was horrible at it. That's why the coyote packs are so small. Too many squabbles over petty stuff like food and breeding rights. He was stuck in the same mindset as the coyote alphas before him. He believed that breeding was the way to build the pack and when he smelled a female nearby in heat, he would go after her and fight any males in his way to add her to the ranks. Other males were a threat to him so he would run them off or try to kill them. Once he realized that I had ideas, he got tired of shutting me down and told me to try it my way. I started going into other pack territories and while they were trying, and failing, I might add, to kick my ass, I would tell them that joining our pack was their best option, that together we could forge a new pack and food would never be something to wonder about. I gathered up whole packs and the alphas would either try to fight me and lose then go on their way or they'd give in and try it our way. Then I showed Caesar that they were all his packs now so he quit running off the other males. I showed him that they meant better food sources cause they were stronger than the females. That's how I showed them to start hunting instead of scavenging off left overs. Caesar had nothing to do with it. I just let him take the alpha title cause I didn't want it."

She smirked, feeling very full of herself in this moment cause she'd never got to tell anyone yet what she'd done for the coyote pack. She'd evolved them into something more, something different, something dangerous. But only because she was there. She tilted her head. "In a way, I guess you could say I used your method. I battled them and when I won, they had to follow me. Even though I still say you cheated." Her eyes lit up with amusement as she said it, teasing him.
