West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Azrael

Only Fools Walk Where Angels Fear To Tread

Why were women so bloody emotional? All he wanted to know was where the hell she had been these past few weeks. Didn't he deserve that much? Maybe the rest of the council was willing to let her absence slide and her offhanded excuses provide them reason enough to be lazy in chasing her up and yet Azrael was hardly the same as the rest of them. Laziness was hardly his style. Kat was avoiding someone or something. She was never like this. She was never someone to try and get out of work, let alone avoid it entirely and yet no one seemed bothered by the fact she had missed three meetings? He was trying to....help her, he supposed. Even if he hadn't gone about it quite as he'd intended and yet his temper so often got the better off him. His near demanded questions perhaps his own version of attempting to ask her what was wrong, Azrael never truly having mastered the art of a pleasant conversation and yet her own near bristling exterior only seemed to irritate him all the more. Maybe she was right, her personal life was hardly his business, but her work life was- nd the cracks had been starting to show there as well. That sudden query on whether or not she was crying resulting in a vehement 'no' as she spun away from him. Women. Why did they always play this ridiculous game of saying they were fine when they weren't? Every man and his fuckng dog knew when he was having a bad day. Azrael holding little issue with telling Sera all about it, even at 2am when he stumbled into bed. Why couldn't women be this blatant as well? Why was everything a bloody guessing game? Oh, great, now she was walking away.

His jaw set near firmly then, his teeth grating over one another as he struggled to keep hold off his temper once more. Kat reiterating that this wasn't his business and that she wanted to be left alone. Fine then- but if she thought she was getting any more time off for free she had another thing coming. She didn't want to tell him what was wrong? So be it. But she wasn't getting any more leave over it. Azrael readied himself to simply leave once more, at least until Kat's voice echoed again, the woman talking to someone he could hardly see before her entire body was suddenly airborne- only to come crashing back down onto the pavement. Azrael momentarily staring. Some part of the blonde Hunter half considering whether or not his own power had somehow spiralled out of control and yet.....he was hardly holding her down. That impromptu attack enough to see the Hunter turn and appear beside Kat in a matter of moments once more, hils golden gaze falling into the sight of another Hunter.A single wave of his hand unleashing enough off his own power to send the fellow crumpling to the ground and release that hold on Kat in turn. Who the hell was this guy now? Who was Viktor? Whoever this Hunter was he damn well wasn't part of the Council. Was Kat mixed up with Rouges? Was this what she was hiding?

Kat had, in the least, managed to get herself off the ground. Two knives suddenly flung toward that opposing Hunter as Azrael merely let one eye arch upwards in surprise, the other man dodging those blades and yet Azrael had seen this power of Kat's before. Those blades were going to come back. Really it was an almost impressive talent and yet he was near robbed of the opportunity to watch it as Kat struggled to assure him she had this under control and that she didn't know who this was. That...was a lie. Not a total lie....no, but a lie all the same. His singular affinity for the truth readily assuring him that her words were not the whole truth. If she didn't know who this man was- she damn well know who Viktor was and how they were connected. Azrael's golden gaze narrowing readily now. His own words distinctly sharp and yet, for now, he hardly called her out on that lie. The sound of those knives impacting on their target a rather satisfying one really and yet his gaze remained on his companion for now.

"Oh you had it handled did you? You were doing so well from the fucking ground Kat. Would you like me to put you back on it and walk away? Don't be so goddamn stupid I- Hey! Don't you fly away from me while I'm yelling at you!"

Kat, he suspected, had hardly flown off her own free will. That opposing Hunter throwing that power back at the woman to send her colliding with the wall before dropping her back to the ground. Azrael barely having turned to face the other man when that spear came catapulting toward him. Tha affinity for speed so barely seeing the man leap to the side and yet the sting of that spear head was readily felt all the same. The edge so having managed to slice the thinnest of lines within his arm. That faint trickle of blood welling to the surface of the ripped fabric off his jacket. This- was getting a little out of hand. Who the hell was this guy? Maybe it didn't matter. Whoever he was he was becoming an annoyance. The other Hunter clearly expecting a retaliation if that raised shield was anything to go by. Azrael rounding on him once more as his own affinity reached again towards Kat to release her from the ground.

"Look- I don't know who the fuck you are or what your goddamn problem is but you can either turn the hell around and walk away or I'm going to hit you so bloody hard your ancestors will feel it."

Whoever he was, he was decently powerful and yet, Azrael was hardly on that Council because he was weak by any sense of the imagination. Even if he was rarely ever required to use his own powers. That gravity power might have been temporarily out of reach and yet- that affinity for light was hardly met with the same boundaries.

"Let's see you block this then..."

His right hand lifted easily, a beam of light fired from it like a burning laser, very few substances capable of blocking pure light energy in any form. That burning beam colliding solidly with the other Hunter. Azrael almost sure he heard some kind of yelp and yet, he supposed, he wasn't here to kill the other man. That beam cut off a moment later, Azrael almost curious to see how well he'd fared before turning back to Kat.

"You going to help me or just lay around? Our conversation isn't done either. Not by a long shot. Your boyfriend was at out office last week- did you know that?'

What was a little goading between friends?
