West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Black Market

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Can't face me in the Light

I was bound to be caught. In my head I played scenarios and none of them appeared like this. I expected the man yelling at me, or throwing something at me. Hell I expected him to turn all killer kitty on me and sink his claws and teeth in my flesh and kill me on the spot, without question. I wouldn't blame the guy. However, the more I came on this secret little mission, being a muffin fairy, those scenarios ceased to exist. So, I never bothered to think about how ugly this would turn. Instead I didn't worry so much about it. I figured that all would be well and I'd never get caught. Being caught like this I tried to recall what my response would be, but I couldn't come up with a suave one. Honestly, that's just not the kind of girl I am. Mother always wanted me to be polished, but I was far unruly for that. Father knew that. I'm not quite sure if the man in the bed remembered my 21st birthday. We did consume a lot of alcohol. Really, really good alcohol. I couldn't help, but roll my eyes playfully at his comment. I am well aware we put the alcohol in the frosting, and yet, my point was made. You can include alcohol in your food! Which makes everything more delicious! Cleary this is a fact, because I can practically hear the man vocally exclaim his pleasure. Ah men. They hardly are capable of using their words to express what they mean and say. Sitting on his bed I'm still uncertain if he is angry or not at me for sneaking in here all these months, but seeing that grin tug on his lips let me know that I wasn't in trouble at all. I could feel my cheeks start to flare up, a bit embarrassed by his praise, and yet I appreciate his words all the same.

"Well, I'm glad these muffins in the morning can help make you have a good thing to look at when you wake up. The goal was to make you happy."

Quietly I took the muffin he offered me and I pulled the paper back a bit to allow myself to eat it. Even with just one bite I know for a damn fact I make the best muffins, ever. There's a reason why at the café the girls think I'm amazing when it comes to baking those delicious goods at the café. As he leans back into the bed I put my hand on top of the bed and press down. Jeez this is a comfy bed. Curious I lean over and start to crawl over the man, being very careful where I play my hand, knee, and leg. The last thing I want to do is step on the man. That wouldn't be very nice. Without a care about boundaries I happily settle myself down next to him. Lying my head on one of the pillows, I release a sigh of happiness, oh gawd yes this bed is comfortable. Very comfortable. My God if this man can't sleep in peace with this bed then clearly this poor soul has a lot of issues. Running an Ark and being an Alpha would be a bit time consuming. I mean everyone is coming to him for everything. Having to make all the decisions. Heavy is the head when one wears the crown. But to know he has other businesses well when does this man ever sleep, sounds like never. Which is a terrible thing knowing that this bed is being wasted by him. Tisk tisk, for shame. Turning my head in his direction I look for his emerald gaze and hold it for a moment, letting the silence settle between this. My eyebrows furrow slightly as I study his face for a moment. There is always a tell, my Father once told me, when one is lying. My gut is telling me something isn't right, but I also know I shouldn't press forward. With a shrug I turn my attention towards the ceiling, breaking eye contact, forcing myself not to look into the matter any deeper.

"I still think with such a comfy bed as this, even with all the stress of the daily things going on in your life, you should be able to fall into a death like sleep in this thing."

Well, it is true. I mean this bed is amazing! Well, I guess it ought to be for a King. I've been inside palaces. I have walked through hallways littered in gold. I've marveled at the pristine marble. I've seen royals wear exquisite jewelry, and I have been inside many luxurious cars. Whenever Mother, Father, and I went back to our modest hotel or home they would always ensure that I understood a few things. For starters money cannot buy you happiness. They can buy your objects to possess that could make you happy, but only for a limited time. Since he is telling me about how his life is all work, work, work, I might as well ask what he is going to do today. I don't have to go to the café to work. I also don't have to do any training for the Calvary. I should be going over those training things Alexander and Frost told me to do, but Frost isn't here. And my rider is nowhere to be found, so I can't do what Alexander wants. I'm free from any responsibility and I'm going to enjoy it. Making a Were-King happy and lying in this wonderful comfortable bed, is really starting off my day quite well. Teasingly I gently prod into knowing more about the day of a King.

"So, what busy thing do you get to do today, your Highness?"
