East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

The jealousy that plagued the young fox was certainly a new emotion, especially when it came to Frost. She had known from the very beginning of her rendezvous with Frost that there was a woman - Nadya - who he held some sort of affection for. Edie knew he was trying to seduce her to his side. To be with him instead of her brother and come to the pack. She had been fascinated by it, even eager to journey to the Western part of town to investigate the woman. However, being thrown off the Ark and into the marina and nearly drowning had certainly dampened her affections for the woman. Somehow, nearly dying at her hands had made Edie hate the woman, and seeing that Frost had ditched Edie for Nadya was enough to make Edie's skin crawl. She knew Frost wasn't hers - she wasn't even his - but the possessiveness was real as she stepped up beside the small group, her fingers on Frost's arm as she passed the alcohol over to him.

The tension between herself and Nadya was certainly felt by the equine at her side. She hardly expected Frost to jump to her defense, but the man seemed to hardly notice his Beta at all, a fact that made Edie nearly squirm. But it wasn't until Nadya's gaze fell solely on her, the comment about the swim being made, that Edie's body fully tensed. The desire to harm the woman seemed overwhelming. "Listen you bitâ€"" Her voice was cut off rather entirely by the voice of her Alpha dismissing her. The request to leave the man's side was met with a huff of air from the young fox. "Frost... I..." The girl wanted, desperately, to resist the request. But it was a direct order from her Alpha, one that even she would not disobey. Still, a glare was cast towards the equine as she turned. "You know, Frost, if you wanted to ditch me all night you should have just left me at home." She muttered, the girl rather effectively sulking as she walked forward, brushing against Nadya in an almost rough manner, her gaze falling upon the faerie boy that stood behind Nadya along with the other fae girl.

Dorian. The very man that she had been sent to distract. So ah, the faerie girl that stood beside Nadya must be the faerie that Frost had business with. The information was not one that she knew what to do with, at least not until she saw that Frost had effectively pulled Nadya to the dance floor. His fingers on Nadya's skin made Edie's skin crawl in a way that she couldn't quite identify. She knew, even if he wouldn't admit it, the feelings he had for the woman. And the look on his face was enough for her to know that she hadn't been wrong about calling that feeling some sort of love. Still, she couldn't deny the jealousy that erupted in her. Frost was her date tonight. He'd brought her. And she had been cast aside as though she was as very little importance to him.

Quickly, as the faerie girl that held to Dorian turned, Edie reached out and grabbed ahold of him, tugging him quickly away from her and into the crowd before the fae queen could react even slightly. A small smirk quirked on her lips as she reached up, pressing her finger against the faerie's lips to shush him. "You disappeared when things were getting interesting, dove," She said, her voice a rather seductive purr. If Frost would ignore her, she would find another toy. And if she could mess up Frost's night just a little, that was just an added bonus. "Now, before you vanish again, I have some information for you. That pretty faerie girl you're with, my Alpha's very interested in her. And I'm not sure it's to play nice, either, dove. Now, who is she, and is she important?"
