East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Caring for the aftermath of all they had done had been a surprisingly difficult task for the usually steady were-creature. For nearly an hour after he'd seen Isolt retire for the day, he'd simply stood there surrounded by all the viscera of their evening. His emerald gaze had traversed the length of the room, observing the remains of an encounter he deep within had been inevitable. Tetradore could hardly deny the bewilderment that still traced his soul that they had made it out to see the other side. He was so assured that his death or capture was inevitable that it had never occurred to him what he might do if he gained any glimpse of true freedom. It was peculiar to admit that, emotionally, expunging the bar of every bit of taint they had surrounded it with had taken far more out of him then he had expected. Riding the tavern of the fallen bodies had been rather easy, he'd deposited the weres within the forest floor to be taken again by the nature that befit them. The vampires that had assisted his mistress had been laid out upon the roof of a building to be engulfed by the righteous fires of the sun. And then, there had been Risque herself.

The mere thought of simply touching the woman's flesh had so perturbed him. The man was entirely suspicious that, despite everything they had done, somehow, she was still alive. It was perhaps his overwhelming affections for Isolt herself that had eventually saw him move forward from his position at the periphery of her tavern to deal with the bodice of the woman that had so taunted him. Though dealing with her was perhaps his most difficult task, the corpses that had littered the inn were but the first effort in a plethora of cleanup that was required to bring the establishment back to it's former glory. In truth, much of his time that day had been spent within those walls, despite how much he felt as if they were closing in on him. Tetradore himself had gathered rags and bleach to clean the splattered blood from the floors, walls, and table tops. He'd made the necessary calls to get the bar repaired and paid the extra fees to have it done immediately and likewise, he'd additionally had a professional cleaning company come in to ensure the floors shown in the soft light of the bronze chandeliers. In the end, the tavern looked almost as immaculate as it had the day it was opened.

The remainder of those daylight hours was spent entirely curled up at Tobias' side, the feline subconsciously seeking the comfort of touch of perhaps the only individual he'd ever considered possible of keeping him safe. He'd regaled the deviant in any antics the boy saw fit to engage within, playing with whatever toys he'd wanted or whatever games regaled him until the sun began to set upon the horizon. It was that knowledge of Isolt's impending waking that saw Tetradore leave the comfort of the Ark to once again venture into the night. He paused in front of the doors of the tavern, taking a breath to steady himself before he stepped into the those familiar walls. The sound of those soft soprano lyrics immediately drew his attention, his head bobbing ever so slightly to the only half spoken question and yet, the man had hardly expected the red trails that so suddenly began to stain her cheeks. "Isolt..." He uttered softly, his emerald eyes softening as the man quickly closed the distance that existed between them. Tetradore's arms reached around to embrace the young woman, "Shhhh, it's okay." He muttered softly as he pulled her against him, entirely uncaring for the way the blood that ran down her cheeks might stain his own clothing.
