East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Nadya didn't know who Kato was but she assumed he was Edie's mate by how she spoke. When she mentioned their kids playing together she pursed her lips. Edie was as delirious as Frost had been from the blood loss. If she joined Frost's pack then it would be a given that all the pack children would grow together but it wasn't something Nadya could comment on right now. Edie just needed to be healed and her use of Frost aside Nadya decided it would be the best course of action. Nadya taking hold of Edie's chin ensured the woman wouldn't move as she pressed her lips to the others. She felt her ability take over like a heat spreading through her to the other woman. It had been a bit surprising to feel Edie's hand rest of her cheek then the woman return the kiss. Now that sensation was quite new but didn't cause Nadya to pull away. Nadya never backed down once she started something after all.

Only once Edie was sufficiently healed did Nadya pull away. A ghost of a smirk tugged at Nadya's lips at Edie's comment. How much more it had gone beyond a simple healing kiss for her and Frost. That wasn't something she was going to discuss with Edie though even if it did cause Nadya some thrill knowing that Frost had continued his enjoyment of it far after leaving the inn. "I suppose you're not bad yourself." She teased easily as she folded her arms over her chest. "It's not often there's attacks here in Sacro, there must be something stirring out there to be making the species' on edge. The witch could also be new in town and not know that this city is supposed to be a sanctuary of sorts." Even though rivalries existed and fights could break out, the magnitude of lives being in danger that they had been in recently was new.

Nadya nodded as she turned away from Edie over to the small liquor bar near the desk. She pulled out a bottle of Glenfiddich and two shot glasses before returning to Edie, handing over one of the glasses. "Hope you like whiskey." Nadya uncorked the bottle and poured the woman a shot before doing so for herself and setting the bottle aside on the low coffee table. She was normally a vodka or tequila drinker but sometimes a good hard dark liquor was needed to warm the body and chase a particularly rough night away. "At least you're able to be with someone who loves you. Did you two move here to Sacro together? And you ended up with the title of Beta instead of your boyfriend. How did you manage that title?" Nadya slowly lowered herself down into the sitting chair across from Edie before tossing back her shot. If Edie was insistent on needing time before heading out back to her pack home then might as well make a little small talk in the meantime. Nadya's burlesque was a neutral zone for at least that.
