East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

No other girl can make you feel the way I do

"Maybe he won't show." Nadya voiced offhandedly as she peered out onto the stage from behind the curtain seeing the current act beginning their last verse. "He'll show." One of the fae countered, peering away from the vanity mirror to glance at their boss. "The man was here religiously while you were gone. He wasted a good space in my opinion; he never ordered anything, just brooded at a table before stalking off after a while." Nadya couldn't help the slight smirk that tugged at the corner of her lips at the fae's recollection of how Frost had stalked the burlesque when she had taken a leave of absence for a while. "I was supposed to be off by now. This is the last act I'm doing and then you girls are on your own." Nadya turned away from the curtain to help a dancer zip up the back of her outfit. "That's what Cami gets for thinking she could beat Hannah when it came to fireball." The dancer commented as she turned around and handed Nadya her black hat for the act which the feline took between her delicate fingers. When had it gone from her leading them to them reassuring her? Oh, right, since Sam had disappeared for weeks and this subject wasn't something she could discuss with the fae queen for fear that her brother would find out. Nadya planned on talking to her brother...soon.

"Let's have some fun." Nadya grinned as the lights on stage went out signaling the end of the last act and the stage hands quickly rolling out the props for the next act before Nadya and the other girls made their way onto stage in the darkness. When the lights came on and Nadya saw her reflection in that mirror, the bright lights shining all around, and the beat thumping until she was able to feel it in her chest....everything else ceased to matter. All that took up her mind was the act, the fluidity which her body bent and rolled to the beat which showed her flexibility. Nadya moved in time with the other dancers though it was clear that she was the lead in this act even as they straddled, twirled, stood on, and even braced her hands at one point swaying her rear in the air to the beat on the wooden chairs.

It was partway during the act that one of the dancers from the previous act was making her way through the main area towards the bar when she spotted Frost. She made a detour right for him even after seeing him brush away a waitress trying to ask him for an order. "Hey." She could tell he was quite more entertained by the dance so snapped rather readily at him to get his attention. "Nadya had to cover for a girl; I'll show you where you can wait." The fae motioned for Frost to follow and led him to the only single sided booth against the wall normally reserved for high paying customers for its more private unobstructed viewing of the stage. "I'll let her know you're here when she's done." With that she disappeared to leave Frost waiting.

Nadya's act ended and she filtered with the rest of the girls from the stage to behind the curtain. It was there that she was informed of Frost's arrival. There was very little thought put to it before Nadya threw a short black satin robe over her shoulders though didn't bother to tie it around her handprint outfit as she made a beeline for the booth. Perhaps it was the adrenaline, that natural high that she always got after performing, but her movement was sure and fluid as she came up to the table Frost was at. She didn't even look back as she yanked the curtain that had been bunched back giving relative privacy then just as easily slid onto the booth....straddling him. Her eyes were mirroring that smirk on her face as her fingers rose to grip at the collar of his shirt and landed a searing kiss to his lips. Her knees on each side of him allowing the front of her form to press enticingly against the hard planes of his. Normally her fingers would have gladly entwined through those locks of hair but she was nothing if not observant of his appearance and had taken note (in the short time before pouncing on him) of just how meticulously placed his hair seemed to be...more so than usual at least.

Nadya pulled away from the kiss but didn't move much further than that as she questioned, "Did you enjoy the show?" He had never seen her perform outside of that snippet solo practice before and the knowledge that he had watched her was...thrilling.
