East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Cause i've been dancing with shadows
waiting till the morning after

Those seedy bars and crowded dance clubs had been Sebastian's hunting grounds for decades, those intoxicated and drugged individuals were more inclined to venture into the more risque realms of sexual deviants, enough so for the vampire to find a place to sink his fangs into flesh and draw blood from their veins in a way they were all too willingly to oblige him. Though his relationship status changed, and in turn his own feeding style, to a degree, some things remained very much the same. This was surely one such aspect. The vampire left his own home decidedly later than usual tonight, largely in part to the presence of his lover within those walls and his unwillingness to leave the man even in spite of his own growing needs. Still, eventually, Dorian had quite literally pushed him out the door and, in turn, the vampire had begrudgingly found himself wandering down those old familiar streets in search of someone that seemed delectable and, more importantly, willing. A small frown crossed his lips as he stepped into that dingy dive, his dark blue eyes traveling across the throng of drunkards within. The crowd was particularly rambunctious tonight and yet, it only offered the man some further hope that his own desire for blood would soon be fulfilled.

He made his way towards the bar, keeping an eye upon the crowd in general only to find himself pressed against by the numerous bodies that filled that small space, prompting a frown upon his lips. What he hardly expected to find, however, was the sight of a particular young woman further down that mahogany top, clearly too intoxicated to care of the man that stood behind her, his hands a bit too exploratory for even Sebastian's own tastes. The vampire's gaze shifted over the crowd in a small display of hesitance before a soft sigh left his lips. He would hardly be able to suppress his own guilt if he left her to her own devices and found that harm had come to her from his own inaction. Great. This was definitely not how the Englishman had anticipated spending his evening. Slowly, he pushed himself away from the bar, making his way through the crowd and towards the young woman with decided purpose. "Gia, my daffodile." He spoke over that music as he came to stand at the girl's side, that feigned simper still upon his lips. He was all too aware of that hint of confusion that crossed the features of the man behind her at his presence and yet, Sebastian was content to offer him a glare of his own, quite willing to stare the man down, if not worse.

Unfortunately, the man's efforts to passively see the man's disappearance was distracted only by the young woman herself slowly beginning to slant to the side. Sebastian quickly stepped closer towards her, letting her lean upon his solid figure. "Woah there love." He uttered softly with a hint of concern, one arm nestled around her waist with a clear intent to keep her upright. "Let's get you home, hm?" The vampire inquired, though he hardly even expected a response with the way even her gaze remained hazy, and her eyes drooped. It was easy to lift her off the chair, regardless of if she slumped against him or tried to stand on her own feet, either way, he was ready to accommodate her in whatever way necessary to get her home in one piece - safe and sound.
