East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Finally, Lazarus would take his leave. Killian didn't care too much for his presence, and the way he would come off with every word he said was like a snake lunging at you; You'd do anything to avoid being bit.
To Killian, Lazarus was just another one of those rowdy customers that just came to pubs or bars to get their fix.
"Jus' another prick wantin' his spotlight.. Tsch. Good riddance."
The Irishman thought to himself as he would take a sip of his drink, and recall briefly that Malia was still here, and she very much was wanting to hold a conversation.

Finally, someone pleasant that he could see himself hanging out with him. Even if she did seem slightly awkward in some sense. But this unique, and a nice part of her personality.
Killian always did find himself gravitating towards people who had some of the most unique personalities and quirks.
He had his own quirks as well, so it all just went hand in hand.
He turned to face Malia and would softly chuckle, as he was trying to think of how to explain his lifestyle.
There was nothing rude about what she said, but he felt like he was hitting a brick wall.

"Clearly, I will have to just wing this one."
He thought to himself as he would take a huge sip of his drink and empty the glass. He tapped the rim of it enough to make it echo and grab the barkeeps attention.
This was a single that he wanted a refill. He was going to be here for awhile, so why not have another drink and make a new friend.
Plus, he knew his limitations on drinking. That and he could indefinitely hold his liquor better than most. He had his blood to thank for that.
He took another breath, and smiled.

"Well lass, homosexual just means I find the same sex attractive. Some people frown upon it, but in other places it's a lifestyle tha' many accept with open arms."
Killian did his best to streamline this explanation. After all, she didn't need the whole dictionary description on homosexuality.
Not that he could give her that exact description verbatim.
He noticed his drink was done being made and poured in his glass from the corner of his eye.
Killian would raise a finger and stop the barkeep for one second. He pulled out a large dollar bill and handed it off.
"This should pay for the rest of the night for the two of us. Keep what we have comin'."
He then turned back to Malia and flashed a soft smile again.
"And me names Killian. Pleasure to meet ya lass."
