East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

His own hand reaches forward once more, taking his medallion back from the eternally youthful blonde Hunter once the man had finished examine it- the chain slipped back over his neck and tucked beneath his shirt for safe keeping. The equine far more content with his 'bauble' as Alexander called it- back in place. This notion of teleportation however, readily captures the white-haired stallion's attention once more, violet gaze narrowing sharply upon the hunter with evident curiosity. He had never truly...considered the implications of teleportation in such a manner and yet it seemed almost obvious really. Xerxes and his horse frequently teleporting together. For a moment however, Frost finds himself quite, contemplating this information once more. For all his stubbornness and attitude the snowy hard man is hardly...impatient, hardly prone to brashness in any sense, his mind rather clever when it choice to be- the man far more given to cunning calculation then bold action and it would seem his mind as fixated upon this morsel of information now. Perhaps Alexander was more useful then he truly appeared.

"This poses another question however. I was not aware of this co-teleportation ability and thusly I no longer know if Xerxes himself or his horse possess that power. I will find out one way or another which of them has it. Does this ability to teleport with the user work with all types of teleportation?"

Long fingers tap momentarily atop the wooden table again, an absentminded gesture before his head inclines upward once more to the other man, seeking further information now though offering now real reason beyond Xerxes for his interest. The Hunter's further talk of the council earning little more then a snort of derision from the younger man, arms moving to fold over his chest, leaning back within the chair in a manner very near callous as one hand simply waves loosely in dismissal of any further talk of the Hunters Council. It was hardly the Council they had to contend with- at least not in this moment. If they were truly to succeed in the death of Xerxes then perhaps they would become more of an issue. Azrael always was a stickler for rules. Irritable golden haired prick that he was. Something to worry about later.

"Bessus is a....distinctly feminine name to my understanding. Was it considered masculine in your time or did his parents simply dislike him?"

The barest hint of a simper dares to trace along his lips in a fleeting expression of humour before their conversation shifts once more and the equine finds himself....agitated with the other man now. The Hunters own subtle determination to encourage Frost's own admittance that he might need the other man was hardly missed and yet such a battle of wills was significantly....more than that. It is an unspoken subtlety that seems to exist between the two in the silence that follows. Even if only one exists as an animal they are both distinctly 'Alpha' by nature, such a position a precarious one between the two and perhaps one that would continue shift in this delicate balance- neither willing to fully accept any sort of submission to the other. After all, Alexander had spent a lifetime (if not several hundred of them) commanding others and yet by the very nature of his species, his being and his own overwhelming willpower Frost is perhaps equally inclined to leadership. What stallion isn't? He almost feels for Bucephalus. Poor bastard of a horse would hardly have had a chance against this immovable wall of irritable Hunter. The silence however- continues to rage between the pair, Frost determined to refuse this unspoken demand and yet Alexander remains seemingly determined to press it upon him. He had....underestimated this man and yet it was hardly a mistake he would make so easily again. Perhaps he cannot be blamed to an extent- everyone else around him had proven to be malleable, submissive or easily cowed. This one- seemed otherwise and yet for now at least Frost is merely willing to see it as a challenge.

When Frost finally speaks the words are very near spat through clenched teeth as if they are poison upon his lips, loathing this....yield to the other man, small as it is, that delicate balance of power shifting once more and yet the equine would hardly forget it in a hurry as he looks determinedly away from the other man now- though the subtle nod of acceptance is hardly missed.

"Good."

It is very near mumbled- the younger man allowing the silence to descend once more, his thoughts his own for now, not yet nearly skilled enough in his craft to snatch any thoughts from Alexander's mind- yet. A sigh of sorts falls softly from his lips as he leans backward once more, seeming to have recovered from his momentarily bruised ego- his usual indifferent demeanour returned now.

"Do you have a plan then? You are the supposed military genius after all. Although I suppose all the plans in the world won't matter if we don't....work well together which I suppose is the first step."

He pauses once more, each word seemingly considered with care now- and evident distaste all the same, this very sort of 'working together' the thing he had spent most of his life violently rejecting.

"I assume you have no other plans for this afternoon, or tonight for that matter. Thusly I see no need to put off the inevitable in this any longer. I do recommend you change your clothing though if you don't want that getting.....dirty."

For a moment the equines lip quirks once more, violet eyes briefly visible, flashing noticeable mirth towards the hunter now as if the horse is distinctly more aware of some unspoken 'in' joke he hardly cares to revel-for now at least- slowly easing himself to his feet, stretching his limbs as he strolls back towards the door and outside. He waits only long enough for Alexander to change or grab whatever he needs- if anything, allowing the other man to fall into step beside him as he begins to head down the street with a single location in mind. Hands tucked into the pockets of his jeans.

"To become a Hunter, I am told, you have to be near death. From what I read history seems very undecided on how you died- in a sense. What did happen to you?"

He is merely curious, it would seem, Alexander surely old enough to have gotten over whatever had brought about his 'death' all those years ago.
