East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Samantha Cassidy

Samantha was hardly afraid as she closed the distance between them, effectively cutting off his sentence to press her lips against his. The fae girl wasn't quite sure what she expected from him, really. She didn't, however, expect the way that the man would entirely freeze, and for a second she nearly broke the kiss to apologize. But then her world seemed to explode with the magnitude of emotions that he was feeling. The shock almost made her pull back, though she was amused that she, of all people, was able to completely astonish him. But it wasn't until she felt the bright spark of lust from him that she felt confident she wouldn't pull away. If anything, his lust mixing in with her own only made her more confident that this was exactly what she wanted. She wanted him, and right now he wanted her. That news was enough to keep her lips on his.

Samantha was aware of the way that his hand seemed to rest so naturally on her neck as they kissed. Her own hand moved to rest on his shoulder, her fingers knotting just slightly in the fabric of his jacket. When they broke contact only to kiss again, Samantha couldn't help but feel overwhelmingly ecstatic when he'd go right back in for more. Her empathic ability only seemed to... to make her want him even more. Perhaps she'd been lying a little bit when she'd said that her ability wasn't affected by others. Her choices were hers. Her emotions... her emotions were the perfect mix of his and hers. It was enough to make the girl feel as though she was seeing a thousand colors all at once, and Samantha was sure she didn't want to stop. Or at least, she wanted to do this over and over again.

And then it was him finally pulling away, his lips hovering close enough to hers that it took Samantha several seconds to process what he'd said to her. She grinned, a girlish giggle escaping her lips as she leaned in and closed the distance between them again. Her kiss was brief this time. She allowed her fingers to raise to his cheek, stroking his skin there as she raised her eyes to his. "Not entirely true," She said with a sly grin crossing her features. "I just learned that kissing you does amazing things for my powers..." She let her fingers drop back down to his shoulders. She looked up at him, biting her lower lip. "Is it terrible that I don't want to learn about my power right now? I don't think I can focus. Not when you're sitting there being so sexy and all that..."
