North

Within the Northern vicinity of the city, the wealthy gather behind meticulously trimmed hedges and high-class architecture. The pristine streets are paved with stone and the storefronts are brightly lit and inviting - for the right clientele. In the North, every establishment is eager to cater to the rich and the wealthy. Many such places are used to the sometimes peculiar requests of the otherworldly but here there is little that money cannot buy - whether it happens to be illegal or merely involves looking the other way. Vampires and Dark Hunters are often found upon these Northern streets, their long lives often contributing to their sizable wealth which allows them the luxuries that the North provides.

The sudden yips released from the fox upon his lap see the shaggy haired deviant look down with curiosity at the amusing sound, lips lifting into a crooked grin once more as his own snicker hisses between his teeth, seeming to seek to mimic the sound though he hardly knows what it is she finds amusing, head tilting slightly at the sound of her voice as she makes some comment in regards to his face, features contorting slightly as he only precedes to rub at his face once more, further smearing it with blackened ash as he looks back down upon her. That he has only made it worse is evident now, the boy looking very much as if he has stolen a draw full of black eye shadow and attempted to create his own artwork upon his face, black hair tangling into his eyes as the fox seems fit to scold him once more as his fingers stroke her thickened red fur.

"I did not....call you pet."

This he thinks, was the deal. He is sure she did not say he could not have her on his lap nor stroke her fur, the young man seeming fit to continue the gesture, long fingers streaking gently through the russet hairs with a gentleness so really seen from such a predatory creature, seeming utterly soothed by such a gesture before he makes some attempt to add her own likeness to the wall, grinning proudly at his efforts as Pretty merely blinks up at him, evidently not sharing his delight in the slightly triangular image of a fox he has added in a manner truly child-like in design. His attention however, is a strikingly limited thing, seeming to be seized once more by some other passing thought, wild dark eyes turned upon her once more as he grins readily again, this look holding a far more devious intent as he asks after her ability to jump. Her answer seems to please him thoroughly, the boy moving to stand once more, scooping his Pretty up into his arms as he does before directing her towards his shoulders, entirely of the belief that five minutes of play has earned him the right to wear the girl as a scarf of sorts, though whether she will stay there cannot be said as he begins to move once more.

"I will....show you."

He easily moves to stride back out from the alleyway, bare feet silent upon the cold concrete as the messy-haired deviant steps back out onto the street- before abruptly jerking to a halt, wild eyes flicking abruptly and suddenly upward before he hastily scrambles backwards and into the shadow of the building, one hand reaching up to balance the fox on his shoulders, finger taping a moment at her muzzle in an obvious gesture to remain silent as he presses back against the wall, remaining utterly still as a blackened shadow suddenly detaches itself from a roof across the street, swinging upon the fire escape before landing silently upon the road, a flash of gold giving away the other man's outrageously blonde hair before he straightens his hood, seeming to pause a moment longer before wandering off in another direction. The young man visibly relaxes once more, frame losing much of that tension as he peers back around the corner, assuring himself the blonde is gone.

"I do not....like that man....is Hunter. Shoots at me but I know....him now....so I know when...he is here."

The sentence is poorly constructed as always and yet the words are...odd in themselves, the boy seeming to indicate he holds some form of ability to know when such a man is around, perhaps indicating the manner in which he had so quickly identified him before stepping out onto the street once more heading immediately towards a rather large, rather lavish building upon the corner, the sign outside identifying it readily as The Witchery and one of the cities better known upmarket hotels. Tobi moves readily towards the back of the building, senses alert now for any indication of any other being before he slides silently towards the back door, pointing to the rather tiny window above it.

"Can Pretty....go through there....and open door? I do not...fit."

The heavy wooden door is locked in far more than once place, the boy unable to fit through the window to get inside in either of his forms and yet the fox is surely capable, even if she will be forced to jump in either fox or human form to unlock the deadbolt at the very top of the towering oak barricade the boy is determined to go through, assured he has found a perfect partner for such things.
