Ashes to Ashes

It was rare for the child vampire to so linger in sleep beyond sunset. Even more so to not stir at the movement of another. Perhaps it was that loss of Sebastian slipping from the bed that caused Anna to begin her transition from the dreamworld to reality. Although her gaze fell on the empty space beside her there was little care put into it. The sound of the running water alone told Anna where Sebastian was. Why should she fret when he was so clearly still in the room? It wasn't his attention she was wanting anyways. That hunger which had been briefly suppressed by feeding from the flight attendant was back with a vengeance.

It didn't take long for those heightened predator senses to find the nearest victims. Luckily for them they were separated by a locked door. However, they were engaged in the only activity that brought about her most volatile side. Anna's ability had its limitations but the old vampire had had that many more years to hone and practice to work around those limitations. That was exactly the task Anna-Marie was working on when Sebastian exited the restroom. Her fixed gaze never left the door, not even registering Sebastian's progress across the room to her side. Even the touch of his hands to her shoulders hardly caused the girl to spare him her attention. Anna gave no indication of turning away from her found victims but the pressure his hands exerted on her alerted her that he wanted something. It was with reluctance that Anna ceased her search with her ability for the pair in the room to turn her attention on her childe. Fierce blue eyes met those near identical looking back at her. She liked his eyes and that simper of a smile he afforded her.

For a moment Anna simply stared back at Sebastian before acknowledging his question with a slight nod. "J'ai faim." It was Sebastian's singular use of mon petit that had Anna quite naturally revert to her native born tongue. She was hungry...starving...and lingered on the precipice of control due to it. Although none of that required any guessing from how she had just been behaving. Anna blinked slowly, noting that Sebastian was dressed in only jeans so was hardly fit to leave for their evening. "Tu n'es pas habillé..." Speaking of, her small hands gripped the sides of her dress and gave a little swish from side to side, "Vous aimez ma robe?" Where once the face of a monster resided there now was an innocent child with a bright smile looking back up at Sebastian. "Où allons-nous?" Anna willingly held up her hand for Sebastian to take and lead her wherever it was that he pleased.
