I wasn't raised in regular society so I don't know anything about the latest fashions and the trends in magazines. I don't even know what a magazine is. I've never worn make up and the most dressed up I've ever been is the regular tshirt and jeans that I throw on every day. Of course Raven's clothes don't fit me like my own used to but I don't mind. I'm thankful for everything she's given me. I was surprised to come downstairs today and find a big breakfast waiting for me. I dug in, of course, thanking Raven in between bites. She's a really good cook, at least compared to my pack cook. When she offered a shopping trip, I had many questions. I've never been shopping before and I didn't know anything about it so she had to explain but once she did, I couldn't wait to begin! New clothes? I won't even know where to begin!

She said there would be plenty of other people there and that made me a little nervous, especially since I bet it won't just be women. I wonder if other Weres will be there or if there will be other supernaturals too. Will hunters be there? Will they come after us? I shiver at the thought. I feel safe with Raven cause I know she can make herself big but I hate having to depend on her to protect me all the time. Raven explained that we both need clothes and I nod in agreement, though I glance down at the clothes I have on. I would like some new clothes but I don't need anything fancy. Of course, I wouldn't even know what fancy is.

Once we get out and moving, Raven is mostly quiet. My nerves feed off of her and I don't like it. I feel awkward and paranoid. My eyes dart left to right, waiting for someone to jump at me or threaten to attack. I stick close to Raven, always within reach. I can tell she's not comfortable and in turn, it makes me uncomfortable. Of course, I get distracted easily too though and all the clothes and mannequins and such, well, they're distracting. My eyes widen when I see all the shirts and skirts on display. I've never seen clothes that are cut so short! Are they supposed to show that much skin? Of course, I'm used to seeing naked people so I guess seeing skin isn't so abnormal.

I pause beside her as she looks at a piece of paper. Peeking over her shoulder, I have no idea what I'm looking at so I look at her and back at the store she's looking at. Is this it? The music is...strange. I watch the way she looks at the clothes. She looks disapproving. Is there something wrong with them? I look at her in puzzlement. When she turns to me with her arms crossed, I listen attentively. I grin broadly at her.

"No, let's stay and check it out. I'm sure you were told to go here for a reason. I'll find something, I'm sure. do you want to go?"

My features fall a little, wondering if she's not having fun. If she wants to go, I'll go. I'd feel bad making her stay for me. I do pull her into the store, but I keep looking back at her, wondering if I should have just said let's go. Raven pulls her hand out of my grip but she's gentle about it so I don't get offended. I try to keep myself busy. I move from rack to rack, pulling out shirts and jeans and skirts and shorts, everything I can get my hands on. I hold them up one at a time as if modeling for Raven but she keeps shaking her head and looking at other stuff. She doesn't look like she's having fun at all. I scowl and put the clothes back I had in hand. I start to look for something else but then a bump from behind has me shrinking against the rack as I turn around. A guy moves past with a wink in my direction as he follows after another girl intent to head to the shoe racks. I recoil from his traveling eyes, immediately racing to Raven's side the minute I get a chance.
