Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

How unbecoming it was for a King to be so....emotional. Perhaps the very depths of just those emotions remained concealed from his lovers knowledge and yet, in truth, Dorian struggled to maintain it as such. While his stance, even his features, perhaps gave little away to the nervous turmoil that so afflicted him in those moments that followed his proposition- his very heart remained wholly content to betray him. Even he, without the talents his companion so possessed, was very near assured he could hear his own heartbeat let alone feel the way it suddenly so seemed to hammer against his chest in a manner Dorian found distinctly un-royal. It was not becoming of him to be so un-done and yet the Fae King found he was rather rapidly becoming less and less inclined to care that Sebastian so might be given to see even a glimpse of that which he felt. Such emotions as this were new to him. Even despite his many centuries of life he had, quite simply, never been in love with another. He had known desire, lust, even affection and yet love was an altogether baffling emotion that had been content to appear so suddenly and perhaps even to confuse him for several weeks as to entirely what he had felt in its embrace. He had loved his family he supposed- at least in a way and yet even that had not near been so potent as this. It was terrible and glorious all at once. It inclined him to be both utterly foolish and yet decidedly bold at the same time. It was the most wondrous thing that could so eclipse his mind entirely and indeed seemed to absorb every part of him whenever it was so his gaze merely rested upon Sebastian and yet, too, it forced upon him a vulnerability so distinctly dangerous it surely terrified him. How easy it would be to find himself hurt in this- in a way he never has quite been before.

It is this realisation perhaps, that he must so trust his lover with just that vulnerability that is surely to blame for that nervous flutter within himself. The vampire having shifted closer to him in that momentary interim within his words as Dorian finds the silver-hue of his gaze searching the features of his companion for any hint as to just how such an idea might be received. It was, after all, so very against the notion of mere lovers that some part of the Fae still feared perhaps- that the vampire might reject it. The manner in which Sebastian's hands so swiftly seem to find his face however, readily see such fears assuaged, at least for now, this notion that Sebastian could indeed hear his heartbeat resulting in the Fae so inwardly cursing it before the other man's words seem to settle upon him. His to have entirely? Did Sebastian truly know how entirely Dorian did desire him? The words rise so unbidden to his lips, halted only by Sebastian's own pressed softly against him and the vampire's assurance that he was indeed willing to allow Dorian to sleep beside him tonight. This admittance alone seeing that ever-warm simper return to his features in true pleasure. His form relaxing all-too readily though indeed that Sebastian would so allow him to stay seems only to further blossom that warmth within his chest.

"I think Bastien, you underestimate my capacity to sleep when it is so I have been up all night and some nights before this. Though if it is so I am given to find myself awake before you then I shall simply use such time to consider some of my other ideas and how I might tell you of them when you do wake up."

Two weeks, after all, is a decidedly long time to be without his companions touch and yet indeed just long enough to allow the Fae to consider a veritable plethora of other 'ideas'. He can hardly prevent the chuckle that so parts his lips now, moving to take the offered hand and entwine his fingers with the man's own- allowing himself to be led from the Aquarium and back to the waiting car. Dorian hardly hesitating, this time, to slide within it. The man having nearly lost his fear of car's entirely within the space of a single night. Dorian barely given to notice, this time, as the car pulls so smoothly away from the curb. Ah, but what pleasure there was in simply going home with his companion. It is however, no more than several moments before a thought of a different sort so seems to afflict him, his features frowning slightly within the dark of the car as he turns once more to the man beside him.

"Bastien- have you eaten tonight?"

It is hardly food of the traditional sort Dorian so seems to inquire after. The cooler touch to his lovers embrace and indeed the pallor to the man's skin perhaps answer enough and yet the Fae inquires all the same. The idea that Sebastian should go hungry for his sake is displeasing to him. Would a night without blood cause his lover...discomfort in any fashion? Dorian's own knowledge of such a thing is limited at best and yet in this the man is perhaps as wholly bold as he has always been. He knows well of his companions more bestial side and indeed to pretend it did not exist would be a folly Dorian has no desire to ignore.

"You may take from me if you so desire, you are welcome to. In truth I.....enjoy it when you do."

That simper so finds his features once more, assuring the vampire that in this he held truly little reservation- Dorian once more entirely free with his admittance as he suspected perhaps few ever had been. After all, how often did any so freely offer the vampire blood and without requiring any coaxing from the man himself? Let alone affording any notion that it was neither distressing nor displeasing for him to do so? The simper that so adorned his features remains still and yet there is a distinct shift to his tone in this moment, something decidedly teasing seeming to taint his words once more.

"Perhaps I shall even allow you take from me this evening without having to seduce me first- you shall have to make up for it tomorrow though."

It is all-too easy to remove that small space between them once more, his lips finding his companions own for surely the umpteenth time this evening- this time allowing his hand to so tangle within the dirty blonde of the man's hair and only deepen that kiss so entirely for his own selfish wants. The car so evidently given to bring out such wants in the man each time he finds himself within it. He pulls back just so- allowing his teeth to graze Sebastian's lower lip if only for the knowledge such a thing so often seems to engage his companion so fully.

"The truth of it, Mon Cheri, is that I have been entirely without any satisfaction since the day you left- this is a very long time. There is no other."

Tonight, it would seem, is truly a night for admittances.
