Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

in a moment we're lost in passion

dancing with this chemical attraction

It had been over a month since Sebastian had seen the first flicker of crimson within the periphery of his gaze. That singular ribbon had earned the vampire a slap when his other affinities so failed him, distracted wholly by that newfound aspect of life itself that he now held dominion over. He had seen his lover twice since then and each time, he had found himself inquisitively eying not only his own hands but too Dorian's for that ruby thread he had so both utterly feared and so craved to see. It had certain beset him with worry before, in those evenings after he had departed from the fae King's company. The what-ifs had been his mantle to bare. What if Dorian should so find another that might spark the creation of that bond? What if he did? Why could they not be so marked by fate? Such wants had so festered within the vampire and yet, for all his assured ability to create that connection himself, he had been so resolute in his ethics to allow the fae King to find his happiness of his own making. And so, that all too delightful moment within the darkness of the back of his car had been a particular breath of relief for the vampire - that fate might offer them some glimpse of happiness.

There was no denying that the vampire was caught off guard entirely by the way in which the usually composed monarch so launched himself at Sebastian, though he did, in truth, hardly mind it in any facet. Instead, his arms so draped around Dorian's slighter figure, the vampire so holding him close as if he was but the very air that he breathed. His features so nuzzled into his companion in a notable display of affection, the Englishman entirely aware of that soft breath that so left his lover's lips. It was an emotion that he was sure he too shared. In that moment, Sebastian found himself entirely admitting that he so loved the fae King, he gave into those desires, perhaps even accepting the sheer possibility that maybe this would not end in the heartache he had once been so certain he would find. Perhaps, he might have found some measure of happily-ever-after, as utterly unlikely and improbable it had seemed up until now. For the first time, the vampire was offered a glimpse of hope for a future he might have. For the first time, his immortal life had found some sort of meaning and all of it was contained in the fairy that so clung to him.

That kiss that had adored his lips had been so fondly returned with a sort of zeal that blossomed entirely from the rare state of happiness that so afflicted the undead man. The gesture, however, was fleeting, replaced entirely by a simple inquiry that Sebastian himself had so wondered, as unimportant as he had ultimately deemed it. What were they? What boundaries might now exist between them? Was he still so expected in the public eye to be the epitome of a polite, Victorian gentleman? Or was he now given the opportunity to simply love the vampire however or whenever he so saw fit? Of such thoughts he hardly inquired after, however, instead simply struggling to find a word that best might compliment the peculiar relationship he found himself falling into headfirst. It was with caution that Sebastian offered that singular word that might so offer them some modern title, even though the word itself felt perhaps as strange on his tongue as it surely sounded. After all, Sebastian had never had any sort of boyfriend before, much less even a girlfriend.

It was, however, the mention that another title too might be given to him that saw his head tilt to the side ever so slightly. "Another one?" He inquired softly, his eyebrows furrowed ever so slightly at the prospect before the notion of Consort so brought a warm chuckle to his lips. "No, I am not opposed." He commented softly, reaching up to press his lips but briefly against his companion's once again before uttering softly, "I would be honored to be your Consort, Dorian." It was a position he never thought he might find himself in - to so be so meaningful to someone of such a place of power and yet, those titles that were so given to the man upon him were but meaningless to Sebastian. The vampire's crystalline eyes so followed Dorian's form as the man settled upon his chest, Sebastian shifting ever so slightly to so accommodate his lover and yet, he so enjoyed that simple contact of flesh. It was a rare moment of bliss so afforded them, in these hours after the moon had risen and in the wake of all they had so done. A warm simper so crossed his features as Dorian's lips found his jawline, the vampire's head tilting ever just so in order to allow his companion access to whatever parts of his skin he so desired. That nip brought little more than a soft sound from his lips, his eyes so shifting to his lover in a glimpse of inquisitiveness.

"Another idea? Do you ever run out of ideas?" He questioned and yet there was a teasing tone to his accented voice. In truth, he so thoroughly enjoyed those ideas that occupied so much of their evenings, Sebastian surely would never grow tired of so experiencing the world at the side of the monarch. His head shifted ever so slightly back towards his companion, watching the way in which Dorian's fingers so toyed with that necklace fastened so carefully around the fae King's skin. The vampire entirely enjoyed the look of it, resting there and for a fleeting moment, he was content to merely watch the King before his head bobbed ever so slightly. "I suppose I might be coaxed from this bed." He commented in mock thought, "What is it that so fills your thoughts, my King?"
