Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

William Jack Holloway

Truly, William was hardly surprised by the way the woman took his bait on whether or not she particularly liked to share, though he couldn't deny the quirk of his lip at her words. "Ah, so perhaps it's me that will have to do the sharing then, love?" He chuckled as he lifted that drink to his lips, savoring the taste of it on his tongue. It would be easy to ask for something else, but he wouldn't deny that it was entirely wonderful a taste on his tongue. Second only, of course, to the taste of her lips. Ah, there was that distracting line of thoughts that seemed to plague every second of the evening so far. How it would feel to have her wrapped within his arms and his lips on hers once again. The idea of it made it nearly impossible to focus on her words, though he couldn't help the way he laughed at the joke. "Ah, how I would love to answer that question for you, but I'm afraid it's trade secrets," He winked at her before he stood. "As for the pet names, kitten, you'll find that I rather enjoy the look on your face when I call you that. It's sexy when you make that face."

He could tell the way that he had unnerved the woman as he moved her towards the center of the room. Her skin felt feverish against his as he maneuvered her into his arms and placed his hands accordingly. Though he supposed he would have danced with her regardless, he couldn't deny the thrill on his features as she consented to the activity. To his delight, she was a graceful dancer and too easy to lead into those complicated steps. "You're good at this." He commented, as he twirled her. And as much as he would have loved to listen to the way she spoke, he couldn't deny those impulses any longer and he allowed himself to kiss her. There was something pleasurable as she melted into his arms, even if he was thrown off just slightly by the way their steps faltered. Never before had he had that effect on a woman.

As they kissed, he couldn't help but tug her in closer, his hands trailing up the assassin's back to tug her in closer. The thin fabric of the gown left so little to his imagination and as such, there was very little to hide the thick bumps on the back of the petite girl. Immediately, William jerked back as confusion flashed on his features. "Vhalla?" he whispered, though he hardly waited for a response before his fingers trailed along those scars once again. He knew of the weapon that would have made those types of scars, and the idea that that might have happened to Vhalla... his Vhalla... It made him sick and how he wanted to end whoever it was that would have dared to hurt the girl he held so preciously within his arms.

"Vhalla, who?" He said very softly as he pulled her in closer. He was so sure that the woman within his arms would flee from him, and how he wanted to keep her close instead. "You can talk to me."

But darling -- it's only human nature.
