What You'll Find Here

Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

My Own Form of CHAOS

I can literally feel the disappointment in her body as we walk into the club. It's like a wave I can feel through the arm I have around her waist. She suddenly seem more withdrawn against me and while I have a protective instinct by nature, this is not the reason I brought her here. There's a silent question of WTF when she looks at the empty dance floor and I scowl thoughtfully as I look around then back at her, an idea cropping to life in my mind. My eyes suddenly dance with amusement. She follow me out to the dance floor though I can tell it's the last place she wants to be right now. I hate to see her not having fun.

"What doesn't? You're confident and gorgeous. You obviously don't mind dancing in graveyards and your wit matches your looks. You're way more than just a pretty face and don't you dare let anyone else tell you different." I smirk softly, affection in my voice. "I'll do more than flatter, darling. How about we spice this place up a bit? You just do your thing and I'll do mine." I close my eyes briefly, pulling on the kinetic energy from outside the club. Lights in the club start to flicker and a few people gasp and look up, thinking the power's about to go out. Instead lights start going out in other buildings, windows turning to darkness one by one until pretty much everything is dark except for the club. The lights seem brighter suddenly, more intense and people suddenly move with more motivation, as if someone drew something into the club. My lips twitch even as I open my eyes and start to find eyes in the crowd, all while leading her around the dance floor gracefully.

Dancing has always come naturally to me, no matter the type of dance or song. I have adapted well over the centuries and kept up with all the trends. My body moves in perfect sync with hers, not giving an inch but allowing her to have her spotlight and show off all that she can do. One by one, people start migrating to the dance floor as if drawn there, their eyes distant for a few seconds before they seem to recover and come to life. Men and women of all ages start to move, some even tossing their wine aside as if it doesn't matter anymore. Soon enough the dance floor is jumbled with everyone smiling and dancing, laughing their hearts out and the music grows more intense. I glance down, gaining her gaze and my eyes continue to twinkle, my grin full of mischief. "You deserve to be flattered every day and every minute. You should be spoiled and given whatever you please. Your intelligence knows no bounds and your beauty knows no limitations. You can be anyone you want to be, never forget that. Don't let anything or anyone hold you back. Edie, you are a gift to this world and it needs to be worthy of you, not the other way around. Live every moment as if it's your last."

I twirl and then dip her, wiggling my eyebrows. "How's that working for you?"
