Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

The arts were eternally a point of interest for the vampire, despite how the world continued to evolve around him, the arts still remained as beautiful as they had been in his youth. San Carlo had always been in intriguing to Sebastian. The pictures of it alone were breathtaking, not to mention the history that existed within that marvelous building. In truth, before Dorian, San Carlo had been the only thing of any real interest to the vampire in all of Naples. Now, however, the city meant far more to the man then he had ever anticipated it to be. Why such a mention of the theatre produced such a warm smile, however, was entirely curious for the undead Englishman. He hadn't considered the sheet mile that once could have existed between them. Then again, if they had met under different circumstances, would things have ended the same? All that mattered to Sebastian was that now they had found each other and that was something the vampire had little intentions of giving up. "I would like that, thank you." Sebastian responded, a warm simper once again fluttered across his features at the prospect of sharing this with his lover. He could only imagine the view that Dorian would be offered compared to anything Sebastian himself could have purchased.

Still, those thoughts of Naples shifted only just slightly at Dorian's mention that traveling within his country might be more difficult than Sebastian had anticipated, once their return was well known. A glimpse of confusion so crossed his features as he inquired why such a difficulty might occur. After all, in his youth, his status had very little needs for guards and though the social circles had spoken of him when he first arrived in London, the peculiarities of being the new socialite on the block were quickly forgotten by court for far more worthwhile gossip. It hadn't occurred to him that Dorian's return might come with an onslaught of spotlight, not to mention his own sheer existence at Dorian's side. Rather, the vampire's merely observed that glimpse of a frown that so marred his lover's features, his own head tilted ever so curiously to the side. He hadn't expected such a simple question to have such a profound reaction on his lover's part. His eyebrows furrowed ever so slightly at Dorian's effort to explain that which their future would hold and yet, the notion of losing their privacy was something Sebastian brushed off with an easy flick of his wrist.

"Between both of our affinities, I am sure we can find whatever privacy we might so need." He responded, not fully aware of the extent at which their lives would be within the limelight. Still, in truth, Sebastian hardly cared much for the court's attention or the country at large. He was capable enough of navigating the waters of society. All that mattered to him were those evenings he spent in Dorian's company, much less the nights they spent curled up in the sheets of Sebastian's bed. It was with that assurance that Sebastian's attention returned to the prospect of Christmas - a festival which he was admittedly looking forward to far more then he chose to voice. The prospect of New Years perhaps ever more curious now that their plans had been tentatively finalized. After all, the vampire had yet to experience this festival his lover so spoke of that required red underwear. "A game?" He inquired, clearly amused by this prospect. "I am sure I will by the sound of it." He uttered softly, his voice held a hint of huskiness as he so whispered in return, clearly amused by the prospect of whatever game so required underware for the sole purpose of taking it off. It was a game that sounded as if it fell exactly in Sebastian's realm of interest.

The talk of the game, however, was interrupted only by the sudden presence of desert so arriving at their table. That blood infused bar of cheesecake had once been something the vampire had been looking forward to - at least, until the arrival of a dish that looked far more delectable than his own. The chocolate was utterly undeniable, as far as the vampire was concerned. The vampire leaned forward to so steal a piece of his lover's cake, causing that molten 'lava' of chocolate syrup to so emerge from the delicious cake. A soft sound of satisfaction left his lips as he placed the cake within his mouth, so savoring every bite. Dorian's observation of this clearly unexpected lava brought his own gaze upwards, his head bobbing ever so slightly as a soft sound of confirmation reverberated in his throat. His gaze, however, remained steadfast on the cake as he licked the remains from his spoon. He considered just how much he could get away with stealing from his lover and yet his attentiveness was hardly ignored by his lover. The sound of Dorian's voice momentarily caused his gaze to flutter upwards to the fae King as he contemplated his response to such an observation. He hesitated, muttering softly several moments later, "Perhaps..."

The offer of that plate, however, was greeting with an all too gleeful look upon his features as the vampire reached forward with his spoon, only to find that plate pulled away from him. A soft huff left his lips as he frowned ever so slightly, his gaze falling once again upon his lover with a pout clear on his features. A suspicious glance crossed his features as Dorian so stated that it was his love alone that might cause him to share that delectable cake, the question of what Sebastian himself would give in return, however, so hung within the air. His own gaze followed Dorian's spoon as his companion pushed his utensil into that moist cake once again, that deliciousness so bringing a soft whine to the Englishman's lips. This was cruel. Still, there was little that Sebastian had to offer, the vampire truly excelling in but two areas and yet, for chocolate cake he offered the only thing he was capable of that Dorian had not yet experienced. "I will play for you." He stated simply with a certain bluntness that came only from a want for the cake, "Or...if you rather, I can take you somewhere you've never been." At least, in that, Sebastian could not fail. Surely one of these things was worth half of that cake!
