Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

It was perhaps only Anna's age which had allowed her to escape the situation she had found herself in earlier. If she had been a true youngster or without her ability who knows what would have happened. However, the ordeal had left Anna irritated at not just the stranger who had decided to bite but at the lingering sedation she had felt in her system. She disliked that feeling immensely, anything that clouded her brain caused the girl to revolt which was one reason why she never fed from intoxicated victims.

Anna-Marie raised her delicate fingers to smooth over the place where the twin puncture wounds had once been with a soft growl. How dare he. If she ever saw him again she would be sure to snap him first for not only did he just hurt her but had taken from her the nourishment from the meal she had from earlier. That whole feeding from a vampire thing confused her. She had only ever taken from another in an emergency case; Crishlyn having offered her wrist for a quick snack only to help Anna be strong enough to hunt on her own. Why would you feed from another beyond that anyways? Since Crishlyn was long absent, Anna sought out the one vampire whom she was slowly beginning to shift back to. Sebastian had taken her to Geneva and even tried to claim her from Crishlyn at the vampire coven gathering. Of course that had only confused Anna since he had otherwise been evasive towards her so she had flung a blood doll and stormed off in a tantrum. That was the last time she had seen Sebastian.

His scent had long ago left the hotel in which he had taken residence in the posh North district. Anna had spent many nights that she was left to her own devices attempting to find where Sebastian now called home. The residential district was expansive and Anna had no idea what sort of abode the man would have sought out. Luckily (rather unluckily for Sebastian) Anna had found the trail of his scent one night and found the estate, committing it to memory before wandering off, which she referred to now. The small vampire was still brushing the front of her dress in her own grumbles at having been ruffled when she came upon the front door of the house. There was no telling what mood Sebastian would be in and Anna didn't want to give the man a chance to ignore her so grabbed the handle intending to simply snap it open but found the door unlocked.

Anna raised a brow as she stepped inside, her crystal blue eyes sweeping over the interior of the entryway. Slowly she ventured deeper into the house, allowing her fingers to brush against everything she passed as she was a very tactile being. Like Crishlyn, Sebastian's house was far bigger than necessary for just one person which made Anna's curious nature flare to life wanting to inspect every nook and cranny. The small vampire was intending to do just that as she rounded the corner into the formal sitting room...only to see a strange man there. That was not her Sebastian. Anna stopped in her tracks and with a curious tilt of her head her lilting voice questioned him, "Who are you? You're not my Sebastian." Her small fingers of one hand twitched slightly, this time fully prepared to take on this new stranger should he be anything like the last she ran into.
