Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Dorian AragonaHis Royal Highness

The way her little features so danced in amusement as he crouched down to her level to take her hand in that age old greeting was hardly lost upon him. The girl so announcing her name a moment later. It was a decidedly big name for a decidedly small girl and yet Dorian was perhaps used to any manner overzealous names and titles. The man simply accepting that moniker, offering his own in turn before at last releasing her hand to rise again. She seemed awfully sure of just where she was and just why she was here, even if Dorian himself remained distinctly confused and too- slightly nervous at her presence here. His experience with children was limited, the man assured he had not held a direct conversation with one since he was one. His knowledge of them limited entirely to the notion that they were to be dealt with by women or nurse maids, that they were prone to being loud, excitable and to having tantrums the whole palace could hear along with an incredible desire not to sleep. This girl, he thinks, is a little older then all that and yet how was he to know all the same? She appeared irate. The Fae King so noting her rumpled frock before commenting upon it, assuring her that he surely understood her plight in this. How unfortunate it was she had dirtied her dress! Dirtied clothes, after all, were a truly great pain. The Monarch in that moment so seeking to appeal to her some fashion. After all, were not children more inclined to listen to those they liked? Surely he could be likeable enough to convince the little vampire to leave and come back another time when he was not so alone in that big house? His so sharing in her disdain over her dress an attempt at just that. Dorian assuring her too that Sebastian was hardly at home and, knowing the limited patience of children, that he would not be home for some time yet.

The girls mention of yet another vampire however readily sees his own head tilt but softly to the side. The Fae King momentarily confused by her words. Anna so seeming to claim another vampire had tried to eat her, surprise lingering upon his features. Sebastian had, once, so mentioned such a thing and yet the way the man had spoken of it had led Dorian to believe vampires feeding from other vampires was all-together rare. Dorian not nearly so well-versed in the mannerisms of the vampire species to truly afford the girl any assistance or even knowledge upon the situation. Truly he did not see what she intended to have Sebastian do about it either, nor why his consort so need be involved. For now however, wisely perhaps, Dorian merely chooses to continue to placate the young Anna. His features shifting into a look of consternation to so sympathize with this crime she seemed to feel had been committed. His head shaking softly as his arms folded upon his chest. Attempting still to appear the picture of calm despite his internal disquiet.

"Who would dare do such a thing as that? Such nerve! I hope you told him off."

The girl had wandered forward now, Dorian so feeling that fist that gripped at his heart tightening all the more with her assurance she would wait. His own thoughts derailed suddenly by her exclamation that she intended to play 'tea party' and have cookies. The girl turning then to look at him expectantly as if he might somehow provide these things else have some knowledge of how they worked. Cookie was not a word he was familiar with. Dorian assured Sebastian hardly kept them in the house. Neither man was all that inclined to eat and as such his lover never had retreated to the kitchen to return with any sort of food. Such tasks were performed by the servants in the least, neither of which was present. Dorian too- utterly oblivious to how tea might be made. For several moments the man is merely inclined to stare at the child, unsure as to just what she expected of him. He never had been educated in the tasks of servants.

"Well if you would like to have a tea party I don't see why you can't. I fear though I do not know how to make tea. I suppose....I might try. Do you know how to make tea?"

Well if neither of them knew then he hardly saw how this was going to progress. Dorian taking a step towards that kitchen, some almost instinctive part of himself so seeing him offer his hand to the girl then, quite content to lead her into the kitchen if only to placate her. He never had been within it before, not really, the man momentarily overwhelmed by the shining room and its array of appliances far to modern for him to understand how to work, nervousness so afflicting him once more as he glanced down to the child at his side.

"Well? How do we make tea? Are you truly sure you wish to wait for him- he might not come back for a very long time. You might not have very much fun here."
