Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

calling out my name

It mattered little how subtle the gesture or simple the touch or fleeting the expression. Dorian finding himself so wholly attuned to his lover in every fashion. That look of want that so crossed his companion's features as he eyed that blue green pool was hardly missed. His Consorts eternal quest for heat one he knew well and yet for now at least he was content to keep the man from it but a moment longer as he so worked to remove him of those overly tight jeans that he was assured he had, after all this time, discovered the reasoning behind. It was a game they had played so many times and yet one Dorian hardly tired off, nor it seemed, did his companion. The vampire so indulging him each and every time he so declared he had learned something, else had come about an idea he so desired to try. Sebastian never shying away from such things regardless of their nature, such a thing only further assuring the Fae King he had made an exemplary choice in partner. For now however it was a simple matter of letting his hands slip beneath the waistband of his lovers loosened pants, fingers momentarily cupping that aforementioned butt that Dorian was assured Sebastian valued as he chuffed softly against his lovers neck. Sebastian own amusement hardly missed before the vampire saw fit to glance backward to his shoulder where Dorian rested, informing him it was surely Dorian's own constant like of admiring it that had resulted in those tight pants. A huff of good humour readily seemed to escape him, eyes rolling slightly and yet unseen by his lover as Dorian merely pressed his lips to the mans neck a final time, dropping those pants from him entirely before stepping out of his own and into that gloriously heated pool.

The water was very near heavenly, his eyes closing against that wealth of sensation it seemed to afford him, the Fae finding he quite enjoyed the sound of that fountain. It reminded him, in a way, of falling rain- a sound he had become terribly familiar with in London and one he found wholly pleasant now. His form drifted back towards his lover as the vampire settled himself within the water, the silver of his gaze drifting from the other man but briefly to eye that bottle upon the side he had never seen before. Any change, after all, to a five centuries old routine was sure to be noticed by that ever-observant creature, Dorian moving to pluck it from the side to pour but a little into his hand, his words uttered almost absentmindedly as Sebastian himself offered a soft shrug as to its contents. Surely it was soap of some kind, some sort of shampoo perhaps, Dorian using that fountain to wash the contents from his hand and replace the bottle upon that carved stone side. Sebastian's sudden mention of knowing exactly what it was saw his gaze return to the man with a ready inquisitiveness, lips parting to ask just that question as he turned, only to find the pool rapidly filling with those foamy white bubbles. Alarm so readily seemed to afflict him, Dorian splashing away from that oncoming tide as best as he was able, the Fae very near pinned against the wall as he so attempted to keep them at bay. Sebastian's sudden warm, rich laughter seeing his gaze flick sideways in his own confusion.

"I hardly think this is funny, goodness don't touch it! No. Bastian. Don't you dare...I do not think this is safe....I...oh heavens."

The manner in which the vampire so scooped up that foam was hardly missed, his approach met with a clear wariness, Dorian so making a rather poor attempt to paddle away from the other man who so clearly intended to bestow those bubbles upon him as one hand lifted to press against Sebastian's chest in a completely futile effort to keep the man at arm's length and the bubbles away. Dorian finding them placed upon his very head all the same, his eyes closing as if fully anticipating something to occur the moment those bubbles touched him only to find he felt utterly nothing at all. Both eyes so reluctantly opened once more, eyeing that grinning vampire a moment before one hand so gingerly reached for his head, fingers touching those harmless bubbles but softly.

"Oh."

Such words were little more than a mutter, Dorian so momentarily embarrassed once more at his earlier actions before that curiosity seemed to get the better off him as it often did. His form, at last, relaxing against the side of the bath, his own hand reaching carefully for the nearest bubbles to carefully scoop them up with a clear wonder. He had never before seen such a thing as this! How marvellous! That simper returned to his features readily now as Sebastian turned back towards him with yet another pile of those bubbles, Dorian so resigning himself to the notion the vampire was clearly set upon his game, the impish look upon his features so stirring a chuckle from his own lips before he stilled himself- allowing Sebastian to place those bubbles upon his shoulder and shape them as he saw fit. Dorian entirely content to merely watch with a clear intrigue. His own features shifting into a teasing grin off his own as his lover worked.

"You know before when we were so speaking of your butt? How long have you been aware of my looking at it? I thought I was being very secretive in my glances and all this time you have known of my admiring it."

There was little save for humour in such words, one eye rising slightly as his companion continued to play with those bubbles. Dorian entirely unsure as to when he had last taken such delight in such childish games as this. Belton perhaps. With the snow. It was only once Sebastian so declared his decoration finished that Dorian took it upon himself to afford his companion the same treatment, declaring Sebastian need remain still as he set about fetching his own handful of bubbles before placing them upon the vampires head- proceeding to shape them into a hairstyle he deemed necessary for the moment.

"You were right, these are brilliant."

Once his Consorts 'hair' had been deemed acceptable the Fae King so found himself content to recline in that heated water once more, fingers idly turning within those bubbles as he so refused to allow his thoughts to drift towards all that still needed to be done and how very busy those next few evenings surely would be. There was the arriving prime minister to meet, new year's eve to be planned for tomorrow, a handful of his long-serving staff as of yet unaccounted for, no electricity in over half the palace along with hundreds of rooms left as they had been centuries ago along with the notion he was entirely unsure as to whether his kitchen new how to make anything other than tea and pastries after all these centuries. He would need to convert his entire palace to an evening schedule too. Ah, how his head might spin!

"Benito said this Prime Minister should be here by ten in the morning. I shall have to get up to meet with him, I fear I might not be in much of a state at that time to talk to him though."

That smiled tugged at his features all the same, Dorian unable to prevent the chuckle that left his lips at the thought of just how he might look being dragged out of bed at such an hour. The Fae King so notorious for sleeping in when allowed. Dorian, on occasion, even outsleeping Sebastian. The vampire more than once having had to coax him from bed entirely. Getting up, especially early, was hardly his forte. Such thoughts for now however were brushed aside. Dorian content to enjoy the rest of their bath until that oncoming dawn drew nearer and the man at last moved to rinse those bubbles from his head and shoulders, stepping from his bath to hand Sebastian a towel in turn and make their way back upstairs to that heated bedroom. There was but a single window within his room, those thick curtains already pulled across it despite its distance from the bed all the same. Dorian stepping from his bedroom but once more to so inform his staff that under no circumstances were the curtains in his bedroom to be opened and that he would so wake himself up to meet with the prime minister before he intended to go right back to bed. The Fae taking but those few moments to explain his new schedule. Benito hurrying to plan their lives around it before shooing the other staff away to leave His Majesty to his rest. With such matters taken care off and his bedroom doors so firmly shut behind him the Monarch moved then to join Sebastian in bed at last, settling himself beside his lover within those warm, thick sheets, the curtains around the bed falling into place- that space entirely dark now.

"Bastian, could you make it so that my Letter Sender will play the bad music and wake me up in time for the Prime Minister?"

Setting an alarm was, still, something of a complicated action for the Fae. His phone held out to his companion dutifully before Dorian so allowed himself to snuggle against his lovers side as he so often did. The vampire still wholly warm from that bath. Dorian finding a yawn on his own lips.

"Thank you for coming here with me. I should not be nearly so brave in all this without you."
