Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Dorian AragonaHis Royal Highness

He was completely and entirely asleep. The Fae King nestled within those blankets of his bed, the blinds drawn and door firmly closed to block out even the faintest hint of light. Dorian having so completely taken up the nocturnal schedule of his boyfriend and as such the man was no longer awake in the daylight hours in any sense. Samantha, long since having accepted his schedule and indeed with her own working hours mostly in the evening very rarely ever came to disturb him within the day lest she deemed it emergency worthy or they had made some plan that required him to be awake. Vhalla's presence was, for the most part, largely unnoticed by the ancient Monarch. With the man inclined to sleep from 6am till 6pm he was rarely given to cross paths with the woman, those evenings when he was awake were largely spent at Sebastian's home so much so that Dorian himself was rarely within his own home. This morning an evident exception. Dorian having returned from his lovers house just before sunrise, collapsing into bed but a few hours ago with that usual displeasure that so came from the notion of sleeping alone when he had become so accustomed to sleeping beside the vampire. His sleep had been fitful and restless and yet, finally, the man had found comfort and exhaustion enough to allow it to overtake him entirely. Dorian firmly and fully asleep when that bedroom door was flung open but moments later to admit that pale-haired woman in all her over-zealous glory.

His heart very near slammed within his chest as he was jolted into wakefulness, his bleary eyes attempting to find the source of that noise, the man so momentarily believing it to be Samantha and that surely the house was alight. His mind was slow to process both the voice and what those words were truly saying as he lifted his head at last- hair entirely askew- to stare at the woman with sleep-filed eyes. Cupcakes? This hardly seemed the time for cupcakes. Dorian mumbled something entirely unintelligible before his head simply fell back against the pillow, the blanket pulled back up once more as he simply proceeded to roll back over and let the sleep that danced just out of reach overwhelm him once more. Vhal. It was Vhal standing in his bedroom. Not Samantha. This realisation at last saw the man shift once more, rolling back over to peer at her again before eyeing that clock beside his bed. I was not yet even ten in the morning. He had barely had four hours of sleep. This surely equivalent to his waking her up at two in the morning. His silver eyes at last narrowing slightly upon her. She could not be blamed, he supposed, for being unaware of his schedule and yet why she had not immediately turned around and left he could not fathom. His voice tired and yet polite if not a little curt."

"What, might I ask, do you require from me at this ungodly hour? It is far too early for me to be awake and I cannot possibly imagine what one has to grin about at this time as you're doing. Unless some emergency exists that so involves this house or Italy as a nation I see little need for my being awake."

He paused then, fully anticipating that the woman would see herself out. Dorian having forgotten, at least in this moment, about his offer some time ago to assist with her powers. The Fae King determined to believe that nothing short of a house fire, the sudden collapse of his country or some danger to his lover were worthy reasons to remove himself from between the sheets. That ring upon his left hand so assuring him that Sebastian was entirely asleep if only due to its lack of response and as such he failed to believe in the final of those three reasons for which to stand. Leaving only two other worthy options.

"Might I go back to sleep now?"
