Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

He did think it odd that Amelia hadn't found someone to have at her side. It seemed everywhere he looked, vampires were consorting with other vampires and finding someone to share eternity with. Of course, he himself hadn't found someone like that yet but he still held out hope, even after all this time. After all, he was never really lonely. He had his share of relationships and sometimes they didn't pan out but sometimes they did. He wasn't in a big hurry to find that forever kind of love. He just wanted it to come to him naturally. With Amelia, everything was natural and she was quickly becoming something of a best friend to him. Was it bad that he was intensely attracted to his best friend? He found that over the time they had spent together, he didn't spend nearly so much time debating over her species and how he had spent much of his existence hating vampires. With her, it was different somehow. He didn't think about it so much. Amelia was just Amelia. She wasn't labeled as a vampire in his mind, even though he wasn't in denial of what she was or anything.

She seemed to like his jokes about the differences in their kind, his eyes glittering when she chuckled. He snorted though when she said that they had extreme libido, rolling his eyes playfully.

"OH PLEASE. A FAIRY PARTY IN ANY REGION IS AN ORGY WAITING TO HAPPEN, AND THOSE THINGS GO ON FOR MONTHS, SOMETIMES EVEN A YEAR OR TWO. I'VE HEARD YOU GUYS CAN'T LAST MOST THAN A NIGHT. YOU KNOW, CAUSE OF THE SUN AND ALL."

Now it was his turn to offer a wry grin to let her know he was just joking around. When he mentioned his wings, she said that she liked them and he tilted his head, trying to decide if she meant that or not. She actually seemed serious though. He could feel her hands caressing his back where his wings were hidden magically under flesh and bone and he groaned, closing his eyes. He never knew that those areas were so sensitive but damn. His voice came out as a low growl.

"MAYBE I'LL SHOW YOU THEIR SECRET SKILLS SOMETIMES. THEY'RE USED FOR MORE THAN JUST FLIGHT, YOU KNOW. EVER HEAR OF A FRENCH TICKLER?"

He opened one eye, his brow rising as his lips tugged into a humorous smirk. She moved behind him, her legs wrapping so naturally around his waist while he ate. She slapped him and laughed, telling him to be nice and he chuckled.

"WHAT? I THOUGHT CALLING A GIRL SEXY WAS STILL CONSIDERED NICE. WHEN DID THAT CHANGE?"

Of course, he was easily distracted by her magic hands working on his shoulders. She was something else. He was joking about the removal of clothing but in the same token, he would never say no to her wanting him to take his clothes off.

"THAT'S WHAT MAKES YOU SO SPECIAL, AMELIA. NO ONE ELSE GETS THAT SPECIAL PRIVILEGE, I PROMISE YOU. THEY ONLY WISH."

He winked at her teasingly. He finished off his hamburger, only to feel her slender fingers nudging at the hem of his shirt. Raising a brow at her expectantly, he obediantly raised his arms and helped her pull the shirt over his head. Her hands went back to work on his back and he groaned again and rolled his neck, enjoying her every touch. As her hands moved lower, he could feel his body responding. It was like someone had put off a grenade of pheromones under the door or something. He couldn't keep his thoughts from her for too long, especially thoughts of her without a few layers of clothing herself. It was like her words were the magic cue. She tells him he should find something to relieve his stress and he chuckled and turned his head just enough to watch her out of the corner of his eye.

"YOU SOUND LIKE YOU ALREADY HAVE A SUGGESTION IN THE WORKS. CARE TO SHARE WITH THE CLASS?"

He lifted his hands to where her legs were wrapped around him, letting his fingertips glide gently up her knees and onto the inside of her thighs, caressing lightly.

"I'M ALL EARS."

The words came out in a low almost hoarse growl, his eyes already smoldering even though he couldn't look at her from this angle. He was hungry in more ways than one and she was looking more appetizing by the minute.
