Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

just another night to kill

She smiled down at him even while she kept up her beautiful rhythm and told him that she thought it cruel to leave him hanging. He could only smile and make another "mmm" noise in his throat in answer. He didn't blame her for what happened the other night. She was upset because he saw the tattoo and brought up bad memories. He wasn't going to hold that against her. He would never hold it against a woman for not reciprocating because he didn't think it right to expect it from them. He wanted to give her pleasure again and again without thought for himself because that's just the kind of person he has always been. Her pace quickened and he moved his body in tune with her, groaning as she hit the right angle. He felt himself building up, knowing it was only a matter of time but he was growing more and more frantic for something more, a bigger push to get him over that edge. And he couldn't believe his own thoughts of what he was wanting.

He knew she wasn't like other vampires and maybe that's why he let himself say the words he would never say to anyone else. Any other vampire wouldn't have hesitated to drain him dry. He had fairy blood, the most addictive and empowering source for a vampire, but he was trusting her. He knew that she held control in all things and he was trusting in that. She told him that she hadn't bitten anyone in a long time and he only smiled.

"I TRUST YOU."

He whispered, even as he tilted his head back, giving her better access. He couldn't believe himself and he knew if he thought about it much longer, he'd probably chicken out and tel her nevermind but then he'd never be able to get over the fact that he was so hungry for what it would feel like and he'd never live down his own shame that he'd asked and then chickened out. He didn't know what would hurt worse, the actual bite or his ego so he decided to hold out just a bit longer. God, she felt so good. And then her lips were on his neck, kissing and licking and before he knew it, he felt the sharp sting of her fang pierce his flesh. He cried out, but not in pain. No, it was exhilarating, a mixture of pain and pleasure that was just enough to push him over the edge. His whole body tensed and he felt himself explode, closing his eyes as it washed over him. It was only after that he noticed she still had her fang in his neck but then she slowly withdrew and licked the wound. He thought he would feel weakened or close to death. He thought he would feel warm blood draining from his body but he felt none of those things.

No, he felt more alive than he'd ever felt before. He didn't feel the flow of blood. In fact, it was like it was already healed. He slowly reached his hand to his neck, touching the spot she had bit and he felt no puncture or wound, only smooth skin. She had healed him. She eased off of him, rolling to the side as he had done and he found himself rolling to face her, wanting to know how she was feeling after that since he knew that he had asked her to do something she hadn't allowed herself in a very long time. He would feel bad if he made her break a promise or oath or something. She curled up against him and he brought his arm over her to hold her close against him, finding he liked her coolness against his skin. Her finger twirled in his hair and he smirked at her, his eyes still twinkling with the effects of good sex. Her fingers reached up, caressing the spot where she had bit and he groaned softly at her touch, leaning his head back even as she told him his blood was really something.

He chuckled.

"WOULD YOU EXPECT ANYTHING LESS? I HAVEN'T BEEN STORING THAT BLOOD FOR 800 YEARS FOR NOTHING."

Then she asked how he felt and he could see the doubt in her eyes. At first he thought she was concerned that she had drank too much but no, there was something else to it. He could feel the sudden tenseness in her body, like she was slowly coiling away from him. She thought he wouldn't like the bite. He brought his other hand up to caress her cheek, leaning in to kiss her softly.

"I FEEL FINE. GREAT, ACTUALLY. THAT WAS AMAZING. I WOULDN'T DO IT WITH ANYONE ELSE, I THINK, BUT WITH YOU....IT WAS AMAZING."

He assured her that he had never explored that part of intimacy before. With humans, yes, he might get a little kinky and there was some biting involved because it never drew blood. With Were's, he made sure that it was set in stone he wanted none of that. He wasn't into bestiality and he wasn't going to open himself up to that. With hunters and other fae, he would bite, unless they happened to have sharpened teeth like he saw in some cultures. He didn't like fangs. In fact, he'd always detested them. But with Amelia, it was different. With her, he felt like anything was possible.
