Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

if these wings could fly for the rest of our lives
There was little doubt that EVERYTHING Abigail did was done so entirely enthusiastically. That grin that crossed Arlo's features utterly delighted her, her efforts, it would seem, were not entirely in vain and with a bark Abby effortless agreed her song was quite the Christmas spirit that her companion need! After all, just look at this place! It was all so... bare and sad! Her little perky tree had a way of just brightening the whole place up! Good job, Mr. Christmas Tree!! Look at you go all bright and shiny and PERFECT! That gentle touch of the man's fingers pulled the young Panda from her tree distraction, a purr like sound reverberated within her throat as she made herself all too comfortable upon his chest. It occurred to her, naturally, that maybe she shouldn't have been all nice and cozy with him quite like this but...he started it! She totally sounded five. Even to herself. Gawd, she almost felt like a schoolgirl, instantly more aware of the man's firm muscles beneath her. Er....best not think of it. He did say he wanted fruit right? Yes! Fruit was great! She could totally fetch some of her Christmas fruit! Abigail leapt from her place upon the couch, waddling quite determinedly towards that table she had left her precious fruit candy on. It took some surely humorous acrobatics to get back on that table but, soon enough, Abby returned to her companion with a candied orange slice in her mouth. Tada!

Delicately, Abigail deposited that fruit in his outstretched hand before the young girl made her way with a wiggly butt and a hop onto Arlo's couch. She was altogether pleased with herself, even as she settled on his stomach. Her hazel gaze remained steadfast upon him as the he slipped that piece of fruit into his mouth. Abigail's mouth parted with marked glee at that look of approval that momentarily crossed his features. Yaaayyyy!!! That excitement, however, was particularly short lived at that wince that crossed his features. That soft sigh saw the girl's head tilt to the side, that notion that his wound was getting the best of him certainly concerned the girl. A small, nearly questioning sound left Abigail's lips and yet, she was forced to move from her portion but moments later as he shifted, lest she risked tumbling to the sofa. The girl hopped off of him, setting at his side whilst he offered her his arm, clearly indicating they were going to leave again. Really? Back into the cold? But they just got home!! A soft huff left her lips though truly she could hardly offer him any sort of complaint. Instead, her small paws reached up his arm, those claws dug into the material of that hoodie as she hopped up, making her way into his shoulders to curl around his neck in the fashion she so often did. Hey! She was like an exotic scarf! Sort of.

An inquisitive chirp left Abigail's lips at the man's idle comment of his intention to find food. She knew, vaguely, of what he intended to do though she failed to see how it might help with that gaping wound upon his shoulder. Was stealing blood somehow magical enough to fix him? If it was, they certainly should have done so WAYYYYYYY sooner! He was absolutely terrible at taking care of himself. Still, she could hardly nag him on it and so, instead, as the man made his way out the door and down those stairs, her small head nuzzled against his cheek, as if that touch of affection would be enough to say 'hey, I care about you STOP LETTING YOURSELF BLEED EVERYWHERE OKAY?!'. The point was probably lost in translation but, hey, she was sorta trying? Her attention, however was quickly distracted from the man as they stepped outside, those twinkling lights caught her gaze. Abigail absolutely adored Christmas and that magic that made up that holiday. This Christmas was quite unlike anything she'd ever experienced In that small fishing village she'd spent most of her life. Her mouth parted in awe as they passed that skating rink, the girl certainly never had seen anything like that. She leaned forward on the man's shoulder as he mentioned bringing a woman here too if he was out on a date, the whole notion alone sounded utterly fantastic to the girl.

It was adorable in away, the efforts the man was so willing to go to save his pride, that warm rich chuckle had a fashion of filling her with a sense of joy. Her tongue reached out, lickng the man's cheek and yet, her gaze quickly returned to that mystifying rink till it was out of her view. It took her a moment longer still to notice that he'd found his prey, the young woman they were trailing seemed entirely by herself. It almost made Abigail feel guilty her companion was going to strike. How scared she was going to be!! Her attention shifted as Arlo began to speak softly and yet, that notion of how utterly romantic this scene surely could be saw the girl ruffle in a fashion even she hardly understood. Her tail flicked, smacking the man in the face in the process and yet, Abigail was game with simply asking. A small snort left her nose before she settled, her head simply resting upon his shoulder. Why she disliked this notion of some fairy tale romance, she wasn't sure but, she had decided quite suddenly that she wished this whole thing over with in favor of her Christmasy-ness. Apparently even the happy go lucky Abigail wasn't above the occasional flash of moodiness.
