Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

years I've walked in the coldest winds
from sorrow and pain I find my strength
the more I hurt, the clearer I see.

The sound of those keys so softly filled the entirety of the warehouse, causing his ears to rest back against his skull at the almost peculiar sense of serenity that so filled the man's frame. Music had never quite been his interest, though truly the sort of 'music' he had been subjected to for the majority of his youth bordered upon some peculiar mesh of metal, rap, and the thudding base of that electronic dance music that had occasionally filled the club that Risque had owned. The sheer volume of those subwoofers had been a point of continual annoyance for the were-creature in his younger years, to the point that he more often strove to avoid any sort of music entirely. It had been far too much for those overly sensitive feline sense. But this - this was something else entirely. Those emerald eyes flickered closed as he simply listened to her fingers move deftly across that keyboard, finding all the correct notes to craft a melody that was entirely entrancing in its beauty. He scarcely anticipated, however, the way her lips parted, her voice blending with that already exquisite sound to produce something else entirely.

A glimpse of surprise crossed the creature's features, the man's gaze suddenly opening to regard her with a sense of inquisitiveness for several moments as she sang to those notes, letting them continue to overwhelm her in such a fashion that the world at large seemed wholly lost to her. It was rare, really, to see the woman so entirely at peace with herself. She was so often the very definition of rough around the edges that he had almost forgotten that such individuals were capable of producing something so decidedly beautiful as this. How he had misjudged her. His gaze remained upon her petite frame, simply watching her profile from where he sat. She was lovely like this. It was a shame that it would surely vanish the moment her slender fingers left those ivory keys. His head shook ever so slightly as the creature made himself entirely comfortable upon that perch, simply enjoying those softly played sounds and the peculiar emotions it so managed to stir within his often tremulous soul. This had a way of calming those thoughts, turning those waters within him into something more glasslike then the rushing waves of concern, anger, and annoyance that had afflicted him of late.

It was the sudden ceasing of that playing that drew his attention once more, nearly half an hour later. He'd watched as she clutched that water bottle in her hands, her throat had clearly gone dry from the way she so drank the contents, and yet the man scarcely moved as she turned to make her way down the stairs and towards the open space of the warehouse. The lights that suddenly flicked on overhead caused his own gaze to squint, his irises quickly adjusting to this sudden change and yet, the man hardly anticipated just how quickly she found him. The crash of that water bottle upon the floor drew his gaze, his emerald eyes briefly met the bright blue of her own, though he hardly reacted to the sound of his name upon her lips. Rather, the feline merely stared at her as she placed her hand upon her hip in that sassy fashion she was so often prone to do. Whatever sort of gentleness those notes had pulled from her had disappeared in the wake of reality once again invading that small space. It was a shame. Those grumbles were only met with a small 'meow' from his lips, those vocal cords were hardly meant to produce those human syllables she had clearly sought from him, even if those emerald eyes still hinted at that human intelligence.

Tetradore merely watched as the girl stepped back ,her arms folding over her chest in a clearly guarded way. That suspicion within her feminine lyrics was met only with the shift of the man's body. His belly was pressed into the small platform beneath him, those large paws simply dangling over the edge as his head poked over the precipice, simply looking down at her as if that gesture to further make himself comfortable suggested he had seen far more than she had clearly intended for him to. His head bobbed ever so slightly, at least willing to answer this inquiry and yet, the man equally gave away the clear intention that he was going to remain exactly as he was for at least a bit longer - clearly in hopes that such a rare glimpse of her musical capabilities might well enough continue.
