Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Malia was a strange woman, that's for sure. She was so innocent to the ways of this world. Henry had almost forgotten that there were some who had just never been forced to work in society. They hadn't grown up learning about this world. He supposed the way she was learning about the world he lived in was much the same as he felt about learning the were world. He was still lost and confused and still learning. He supposed he ought to give her a little slack.

He laughed as she stated that whiskey stinked. He had to give her that one. It didn't necessarily taste that great either, but it got him drunk quickly and that's what he needed tonight. "Whiskey burns your throat on the way down too. I doubt you'd like it if you didn't like beer." Beer was mild. Henry could drink beer all day every day if he wanted to. It didn't have near as much of an affect on him as whiskey did.

The more the two of them drank, the more Henry felt his cares fall away. He felt his body naturally relax against the bench. He had just finished off his fifth shot of whiskey when she asked if his hands looked alright to her. He laughed. "You're just tipsy. It's the alcohol in the drink...makes your senses a little fuzzy. Most people like the way it makes them feel...gives them confidence." Well...gave most people confidence. He knew several people who had a few drinks in them and they wanted to keel over and sleep.

When the waiter came back around, he ordered some loaded cheese fries. He figured that she would probably have the munchies. He knew he was hungry. When was the last time he had eaten? He didn't remember. "You might want to take some Advil in the morning. Drink much more and you'll have a killer headache in the morning." He had learned throughout the years that a good night of drinking should always be followed by pedialite and some Advil. Both helped with the effects of the hangover. "So how have you been?"
