Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Sebastian Ellington

Crowned Consort of Italy

There was much to be said of those years he'd spent with that elder manservant. The man had been at the vampire's side during his youth, when Sebastian had cared little more than to simply enjoy the near endless existence he was given. He had dragged the man through numerous situations in which surely neither ever spoke of before the man had found that woman he'd sought to settle with and, in the end, to retire to manage that estate when his own father no longer could. The vampire's appreciation for Giles was near endless. He was Sebastian's closest confidant, his most loyal servant, and, at times, that father figure that the man had long ago lost, despite the simple fact that the vampire was much his elder. The dynamics between their relationship was curious at best and yet, even Sebastian was not unaware of how much he owed the man. A small look of consideration crossed his features at this very prospect of a gift and what Giles could want. Sebastian made every effort to ensure the man's needs were met. He had a roof over his head, he was paid significantly well, enough so to purchase any object he might desire. A soft sigh left his lips as he reached up to rub his hand this his hair. "I'm sure there is something. I'll ask Elaine and see if she has any ideas." The woman had always known the man particularly well - enough to surely squeeze out of him any sort of desire he might have.

His thoughts shifted at that idle inquiry of Dorian's PA and her knowledge, or lack thereof, of that proposal. The woman was often entirely flustered, even if she was entirely capable of handling the King's schedule in a fashion that often astounded Sebastian himself. He'd never had his own PA, the vampire often leaving the day-to-day management of his affairs to those managers and COO's of his various companies. Even so, he had quite purposefully left the woman in the dark, even though he was certain risking her being cross with him. Thankfully, Dorian hardly seemed particularly perturbed at his own decision on this part, the fae King even readily agreeing that it was likely for the best. Still, regardless of the young woman, there was certainly an array of individuals within that home that were left waiting for an answer, even if Sebastian was hardly in a rush to provide it to them. There was something near blissful of that moment in the aftermath of that proposal, with just the two of them. He glanced towards his companion at that idle inquiry of whether or not it was truly Matteo the King had seen all those hours ago within the depths of that vineyard, prompting a glimpse of consideration from the Englishman.

He near willingly admitted to inviting not only the Frenchman but also the Macedonian man that was Dorian's Godfather as well. This was, he was assured, a rather important moment in both of their lives, one that he was certain they should be involved in as well. Dorian's admittance that he did wish to share the news with them both, and the accompanying words of gratitude brought a small glimpse of satisfaction upon his features, even as his fingers reached up to brush against his fiance's jawline as he so freely teased the man of those more peculiar traits of his now soon to be father-in-law. That soft, teasing sensation of Dorian's lips across his fingers prompted a warm chuckle, even as the King sought fit to inform him of his newfound duty to stop the Monarch if he should ever begin to speak in such riddles. His head shook ever so slightly, "I don't imagine that you could ever inherit his knack for that, I might almost be impressed if you did." Although he knew well of Dorian's ability to leave him hanging with notions of ideas and talks of 'next time', the Italian fae often was fit to tease his mind with thoughts of pleasurable things that would be rather than the fashion at which his father seemed so keen to leave him fretting of things that might be. Even so, he could hardly deny that Dorian had not inherited his fair share of traits from his father, the King's near breathtaking appearance certainly one of them - even if he made no effort to comment upon such a thing for the unspoken admittance it might provide of his thoughts on Matteo in turn.

Instead, Sebastian was far more keen to turn his attention towards that inquiry of Dorian's Godfather, a man in which he was almost just as apprehensive of meeting. After all, first impressions were of great importance to him, much less that strong, unyielding desire to be liked by those of importance to the King - not that he had done particularly well on such a front to date. In fact, Sebastian was near certain this meeting would follow in the same abysmal fashion. After all, Alexander was a hunter, the kind often bent upon the eradication of his species. His gaze fell towards his hand as Dorian's fingers interlaced with his own, the man's assurance that Alexander would certainly be pleased to met him was met with a near dubious look and yet, it was with that ever continued fashion of politeness that he replied all the same. "I am certain I will be equally as pleased to meet him." Weather or not Alexander was as happy to find himself an acquaintance of the vampire, however, remained to be seen. Thankfully, before the vampire was left to fret over it for terribly long, Dorian was near keen to contemplate exactly what that proposal and soon to be wedding might entail - a fact Sebastian had put off for another day.

The very mention of all they would need to tend to in preparation of that wedding prompted a sigh from the man, and perhaps the notion that they hire someone to wrangle that affair into something more manageable for the pair of men, particularly when they were both busy enough as it was. After all, the last Royal English wedding had been an affair that certainly had been memorable within the mind of the country as a whole, if not the world. It was that question of that last royal wedding, however that saw his head bob readily, "Oh yes, there's even a whole video on the whole wedding, I suppose we could watch it for...ideas or something." He shrugged, having never truly considered that he might be a groom in a Royal wedding, he hadn't been greatly interested when the Prince of England had been wed. Even so, Sebastian was all too keen to reassure his lover that, regardless of how long it took or how difficult it was, he was certain they were capable of pulling off what would certainly be the largest social event of the year, at the very least. That suggestion of at least returning to Italy and informing the court itself of that change in their relationship, however, was met with a near warm grin, the vampire entirely content to tease the King of finally understanding that plan he had been so hinting at far earlier in the morning. After all, even he was hardly looking forward to the field day that was the press at this announcement, the man wholly assured that it would be both good and bad.

His attention turned briefly towards that house, following Dorian's own as he suggested they might, perhaps, consider venturing into the depths of that home. That inquiry of the piano, however, prompted a small shrug the vampire himself as he leaned forward to gently blow out those candles. "It shouldn't rain tonight, though someone will come and close it and see to cleaning it up. I was thinking, perhaps, we might place it somewhere in one of your palaces in italy? I fear my homes already each have a piano of their own...and this one, I think would certainly look well in one of your places." That glass surface deserved a room far more extravagant than what he might have to offer it. Most of those palaces, he was assured, lacked such an instrument entirely, even if he hardly presumed that Dorian would say yes. Either way, he had every intention of keeping it, and caring for it regardless of where it ended up. It was only once he was assured no harm would come to it in that short amount of time it would be left unattended did he allow Dorian to guide him from that piano bench and back through that garden and towards the double doors that so clearly awaited them.

The foyer that greeted them was quiet and yet, even as Sebastian led the way through that familiar hallway and towards that main room, he was hardly surprised to see the sheer number of occupants that so clearly awaited them. His own gaze shifted briefly towards the King as he paused alongside the man within that door way, those three simple words near prompting a warm simper upon his own lips at that sudden applause that seemed to fill the room - that tension now filled with a certain gaiety that near reverberated giddily within the vampire, even if he made every effort to remain composed. That champagne from his own vineyards flowed freely in those glasses and yet, Sebastian remained entirely content to stay at his fiance's side during those exchanges of congratulations, at least, until the sound of a singular word was uttered by that very Frenchman they had spoken of but moments ago. Sebastian was entirely content to remain upon the side as a silent observer of that conversation between father and son, his gaze darted past the Frenchman towards that very figure Matteo had gestured to, his dark blue eyes but briefly inspecting the man engaged in some conversation with one of his servants over that wine.

It was only that sudden, unexpected movement before him that drew his gaze, his own eyebrows rising at that abrupt hug Dorian was suddenly pulled into. Though the gesture itself hardly seemed odd considering their familial ties, he was rather certainly he'd never seen anyone besides himself hug the King. It was his own name that drew that small, hesitant simper from the vampire's own features. "Thank you, sir." He commented easily enough, his hand fitting within Matteo's own in that firm shake the businessman had certainly mastered after all of those years. Even he, truly, hardly expected to be pulled into a warm, albeit fleeting embrace, a near quizzical look crossing his own features as Matteo quite suddenly stepped away with but an idle comment on his lips. His own gaze briefly turned to meet the silver of Dorian's own, a small shrug crossing his shoulders as if to say he hardly knew what had gotten into the Frenchman anymore then Dorian had.

Unfortunately, neither of them, it would seem, would have the chance to catch their bearings before the Hunter himself stepped forward to offer them his own sort of congratulations. Those piercing blue-green eyes but briefly swept over the pair. 'So you finally decided to tie the knot have you? It was sooner than we expected but...still....Matteo says congratulations are in order.' Alexander commented, far less inclined to sweep the fae King up in some sort of hug this his companion was. Even so, for Dorian alone there was a hint of a simper at the corner of the Hunter's features, at least, until his attention fell upon Sebastian himself. 'And you must be the Sebastian I've heard so much about. I trust you'll take care of him.' The Dark Hunter continued, the vampire fully aware of that weight of those eyes settled upon him. "Of course." That answer came near automatically, one that clearly was considered for a moment before Sebastian was offered Alexander's hand, one in which he firmly met in a handshake all the same. 'Then I suppose congratulations to you as well.I suppose I ought to go track down your father before he gets too wasted. Thank you, for your hospitality, Sebastian.' That word of appreciation the last one spoken before Alexander seemed equally as content to disappear into that crowd, leaving them was those servants and a fresh tray of champagne, one even Sebastian was eagerly willing to reach for.
