Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

I don't know if I'd get along with a cat or not. Technically I'm a dog hybrid so does that mean I'll have the natural inclination to chase the cat? Or what if it has a natural inclination to hate me cause it knows that I'm a wolf hybrid? I've heard of cat scratch fever, what if I catch it? I've never thought of having a pet myself. What kind of pet could I have? Maybe a dog that could run beside me when I hunt? What if a dog want sot hurt me though? dogs are naturally bred for hunting foxes and such right? So many what if's in my head. I guess that's why I never got a pet. I'm too scared to own one apparently.

I smile when he speaks. It's easy to see by the spark in his eyes that he adores the cat, however needy it might be. I roll my eyes a little.

"I can totally tell you hate the one waiting for you."

Mild sarcasm coats my voice as I smirk at him, my own eyes actually gleaming slyly. But of course, the happiness and light mood couldn't last forever. We turn back to the darker side of the conversation, of how we both have scars from our pasts, even if they're not always visible. His seemed to have made him have a penchant for violence. Do I really want to understand what made him that way? Who made him that way? Or what kinds of things they probably made him do? I swallow in fear just thinking about it. I can at least say no one made me do things that could hurt other people. I don't think I could have recovered from that kind of trauma.

I scowl somewhat when he speaks again. Revenge? My eyes soften.

"What does revenge get you but one step closer to being the kind of person you want revenge against in the first place? Isn't it kind of a losing game?"

I tilt my head, curious of his genuine answer, wondering how much of one I'll get in the first place. I turn my head looking toward the flames, getting lost in their magic.

"You keep this revenge game up, you're just going to get yourself hurt or worse, and next time I might not be there to mend your wounds."

I turn my gaze slowly back to his, the shadow of a smirk on my lips.

"You need a body guard."
