Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

The Sun Also Rises

It was perhaps within the very nature of Fae to be observant. Their very species so often seeming aware of even the minutest shifts within another, no matter how well concealed and indeed, in that singular moment, Dorian was wholly aware of that which existed between his two companions. At least to an extent. That query of the camera so seeming to be a catalyst of sorts for whatever it was that had occurred between the pair. That playful near flirtatious banter and softened exchanges hardly escaping the notice of the century's old man and yet he made no effort to respond to it. Dorian wholly content to merely observe that interaction even if he was quite assured the pair was not affording him the truth of that situation in any sense. A part of the Monarch terribly amused by it all the same. How nice it was to see Andras find interest in another. Dorian given to recall entirely well that evening they had spent together in which the other Fae had spoken of that lack of a companion within his life. It was decidedly good for him, of that Dorian was sure. Lani a truly pleasing choice of woman to court. After all, she was decidedly comely, demure and of pleasant temperament. Dorian rather assured she would have gone far in life within his own time. Lani the very sort of woman so many men would have desired. The Fae King hardly surprised to note Andras' interest in her- though he hardly dared mention his observation aloud. After all, such was distinctly their business alone.

That query about the camera however, so easily left his lips all the same, that taint of amusement nestled within those accented lyrics surely clear as one eye lifted upward in something near akin to a tease. His attention shifted from Andras himself and the man's clear inability to successfully master a tea spoon, to allow the silver off his gaze to linger upon Beylani, the woman assuring him that such a photoshoot had indeed been energetic before bemoaning her own carelessness once more. How carefully the woman had cared for that camera the last he had seen her! How very odd that she should have allowed it to become damaged and yet, he supposed, accidents were given to happen. Even the sort that might incline one to keep a broken camera. Dorian so hardly having anticipated that Andras might seek to add any further to that tale. That grin that adorned the other man's features so furthering engaging Dorian's own curiosity before the Fae so promptly announced they had been shooting entirely without clothing. Dorian very near given to choke on his tea in that moment. The Italian hurriedly attempting to place his tea cup down lest he spill it everywhere. That shock upon his features surely clear. Heavens! To mention such a thing at the tea table!

"In the park? In public!"

What they did or did not do in their own time was entirely at their discretion and yet truly, to parade about naked in public was nothing short of shocking to the fifteenth century Fae. Such a bold statement an utter scandal to his mind. Dorian so notably flustered in that moment as his gaze flicked from Andras to Lani and back again before settling upon the other Fae. Dorian quite assured such a thing was the doing of Andras rather than that far more demure Lani. Although, perhaps, he should hardly have been so quick to consider as such. After all, was it not often he himself who led Sebastian astray with those more....intriguing ideas behind closed doors? Still, the idea of photographing such a thing within the park was entirely surprising. Dorian's head shaking a moment later as he reached for his tea once more.

"I suppose what either of you might choose to do for....art is entirely your decision and yet really, Andras."

That pointed look the other Fae was offered so surely spoke volumes of just whom Dorian had decided was to blame for such a thing. A part of the man almost....amused by it all the same, somewhere beneath that initial shock before Dorian was content to brush past it entirely. The Monarch pausing once more to correct Andras on his lack of use of any cutlery at all. Really he was quite sure that devil was doing it on purpose. Dorian wholly content to play that game in return if he need. Andras so commenting upon that need to teach him to live a little. Dorian allowing his eyes to roll slightly before that simper found his lips once more.

"I have lived. Quite long enough to understand the use of cutlery. I am quite sure you will understand it in time though yourself- I have faith in you."

One eye lifted once more, that further tease entirely clear despite the near serious way the man offered it. Dorian so finishing his own citrus tart before prompting the talk of that wedding then. The Italian entirely content to extend that invitation to both his guests, that warm smile readily finding his features again at the excitement that seemed to find Lani's own. The girl promptly announcing she had never been to Italy before. Andras readily agreeing to that seating arrangement in turn as his own head nodded.

"Excellent. I shall see to the arrangements then. I am quite sure you will enjoy my country, Lani. There is a great deal of art and landscape to enjoy in equal turn. Naples in itself is divine and yet you must try to see the country side while you are there too."

There was a certain amount of pride within those words, Dorian distinctly proud of his country and yet such a thing was perhaps unsurprising. Perhaps, if Lani so chose to travel a little after that wedding he could see to making one of his summer homes available for her use- and that of Andras' were the pair to have progressed within that curious relationship by such a time. Dorian so making a note of sorts to remember as such as he reached for his tea once more. That conversation shifted then to talk of those other species that existed within the city. Dorian rather oblivious to the notion that Lani had so far ceased to experience such things. That surprise on her features near unnoticed until that question feel from her lips, his own gaze meeting the widened stare of those blue eyes, confusion touching his own features then. Those words caught upon his own lips as Andras so suddenly spoke to assure that, until that moment, much of the supernatural world had been unknown to the petite blonde.

"Ah, I do apologise, I was quite unaware that you did not hold such knowledge."

Such an apology was offered to both in turn in that moment. Andras moving then to attempt to afford Lani some degree of knowledge on that pack in question and those humans whom held the ability to shift. Perhaps it was better, in some degree, for the woman to learn of them now. After all, Dorian had invited several to the wedding and yet truly the Monarch was decidedly displeased to have accidentally informed the girl of that which she had not known quite before it seemed Andras had been inclined to tell her. That apologetic look remaining before Dorian so offered any further words, his head nodded gently with Andras' explanation.

"Most beings, of any species, you will find are just the same as speaking to any other humans though one should be cautious all the same. Dark Hunters in particular are not tolerant of other races outside of humans. They are somewhat designed to eliminate us."

It would be entirely foolish not to at least warn the woman of those she should be careful off though indeed there were surely individuals of any species prone to displeasing behaviour. Dorian so continuing then.

"Not all Dark Hunters are as such, my Godfather whom you met, Alexander, he is a Hunter. Yet it would pay for you to be cautious of those you meet all the same. All races are indulged with other...gifts in turn. Powers unique to that individual that they may use against you if they are inclined to such. I am assured Andras will speak more of it to you."

Had Beylani seen Andras' wings? Dorian not at all assured of just how much that woman knew or did not know. His attention shifted to the other Fae then as he spoke of those packs further and his desire to know of those more powerful individuals within them. Dorian frowning slightly in a furthered consideration.

"I have not quite met the Alpha of the Nightshade pack though I have heard much of him. My old roommate, when I first lived in this city, used to date him. In fact, I was told he had been killed by the Alpha of the other pack in a rather terrible battle in the streets. Frost. That was the other Alpha's name. I have met him once before. Perhaps you might seek out both of them in time?"

His own words paused then as Andras queried Lani further on just what she thought of Fae. Dorian's own attention shifted to the woman in turn, the man quite finding he was curious of such things himself.
