Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

She leaned forward attentively as Nadya explained that doctors had to be free to talk to her, her eyes widening as she said that the doctor had to look at her IN THERE before prescribing the pills. "Whoa, whoa, wait. So I have to have sex with the doctor before I get pills? That seems a little sketchy. What if he gets me pregnant?" She raised a brow, her face showing only confusion. It never occurred to her that he would just have to look there. She was sure any man who got close to the vagina as Henry called it would want to put his member in there, not just look. Nadya told her that she didn't want to see her get hurt, no matter who it was with. It made Malia feel better, breaking into a smile despite the salt around her lips from the chips she was still munching on. "Thanks." It seemed like Nadya had more to add to that but she didn't say it so Malia let it go. Maybe she had reserves more about Tetradore's pack than anything but Malia couldn't help who her friends were. She knew them before anyone else. She wasn't just going to drop them because she had pledged her loyalty to Frost. That wasn't who she was.

Nadya sighed as if in defeat when the subject turned to Tetradore. It was like Nadya knew that no matter what she said, Malia would still speak up in her defense. That, also, was who she was. She stood up for her friends, no matter the consequences. She spoke her mind. Then Malia asked about Nadya's kids and she could see the light instantly enter her gaze as she said that they started preschool. She tilted her head in curiosity. "Is that the school they go to before college?" She only knew about that school after all. Miyako said it was where you go to get smart. She wanted to go there some day. Maybe she had to go to preschool first! She nodded when Nadya said that the school knows about supernaturals. That had to be a requirement for Were children, she was sure. It only made sense since they might shift or something when they got too upset and human schools wouldn't understand what was happening.

The next thing Malia knew, Nadya was whispering to her that Micah found an ability. She leaned forward as if it was a juicy secret, but her eyes darted as if someone was near and she just hadn't sensed them. "Why are we whispering? Is that not natural?" She saw a glimpse of something like fear in Nadya's eyes then and her brow rose in curiosity. Nadya explained that children didn't usually get an ability so young, admitting that she got her own when she was a teenager. Malia thought back and shrugged. It must have been around the same time for her when she noticed that her bites and pawing was doing more damage to the wolf pups than she meant it to. She'd had to start holding her punches earlier than expected but she adapted quickly. Then Nadya explained that Micah found a bird that seemed dead, only to pick it up and it flew away. Malia's eyes widened. "Wow...that's, wow. That's awesome!" She all but screeched. But then she noticed the doubt in Nadya's eyes and she sunk a little lower in her seat. "Isn't it? I mean, to be able to heal something or bring it back to life. Isn't that a good gift?"

Then Nadya said that she thought he was a necromancer and Malia wrinkled her nose and shook her head. "I haven't been in this world long enough to know what the hell that is but you make it sound bad. Is it bad?" She genuinely wanted to understand why Nadya looked so worried about it.
