Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

if these wings could fly for the rest of our lives
Abigail had never heard an asian all-girl band before, the young woman perhaps equally as surprised by that twist as Arlo was. Maybe she'd have to google search them later tonight and see what kind of music that was. Admittedly, she'd never actually bothered to google search her own friend either. If Arlo really was still on youtube, maybe she'd have to track that down to listen to too. Frankly, she'd only just realized just how ignorant she was upon that world that Arlo was so enraptured with. Music had never been her forte, certainly had parents had listened to some from old records they'd brought from Europe. She could certainly sing some of those older songs she'd heard over and over again - after all, she couldn't remember them ever acquiring new ones, though she suspected largely that was due to the nature of where they lived than anything else. Her gaze shifted towards Arlo as he finally saw fit to accept that offer to play, with a singer and all! Ahhhh!! How exciting this was! She could hardly wait to see him up on stage playing properly! He'd be absolutely amazing, she was sure. It was going to be the best wedding she'd ever been to, regardless of it being the only wedding she had never been to.

She listened attentively as Arlo inquired of his old band and equally as old works. Thankfully, it seemed as if Sebastian had at least some notion of how to navigate those legal waters. His comment of copyright attorneys and signing over rights were easy enough concepts to understand, the young woman's head bobbed along as she glanced to the man beside her, almost inquisitive if he was capable of providing those very materials that might prove Arlo's owning of those pieces. How she hoped he still had whatever he needed! It would be nice for Arlo to get proper credit for those works that had been stolen from him! Any further thoughts she had, however, were near interrupted by that soft tone to Dorian's voice, those foreign words almost fascinating for their peculiar syllables. She watched in an all together inquisitive fashion as Sebastian responded but near moments later, that smirk and whatever was said between the two seemed to please them both, much to Arlo and her own ignorance. She couldn't help but to wonder what that sentence had meant and yet, it was clear it was not meant for their ears, whatever it was.

Arlo's assurance that those songs were at home that saw her own gaze brighten. "I'll help you find them!" The girl added in, entirely oblivious that the 'home' he referred to was hardly the 'home' that she had known to be his. Not that it truly mattered. After all, as long as they were safe again in his care, it was all that mattered to her. She was hardly oblivious to that skeptical look Sebastian gave Arlo at that mention of signing things over. That Arlo had failed to do so simply because he had left the paperwork on his desk however, prompted little more than a sigh from Abigail. She hadn't known him to be so....well....flighty, maybe? But, in this case, it was almost a blessing. Still, she certainly made a mental note to ensure he signed ALL the proper paperwork that Sebastian gave him because it was super duper important! She did suspect, however, that on this matter, Arlo might be a bit more diligent all the same. Even so, Sebastian's agreement to help her best friend caused that warm grin to settle across her features, one that only brightened as Arlo formally agreed in return to play for them - even going so far as to allow her to choose the place she wanted to stay at. As if that was a difficult choice! She knew EXACTLY where she wanted to stay!

It was, perhaps, bold of the young woman to announce she so wished to stay at the palace and pretend to be a princess like those girls in the movies she so often watched. Sebastian's sudden assurance that she was a princess cause a giggle on the young woman's lips. "Thank you!" She responded with a warm grin. Dorian's own agreement to host them prompted a girlish squeal to her lips. "Ah! Thank youuuu Dorian!! You're the BEST!" She readily reassured him, quite near cutting in over his comment the Southern wing. A WHOLE WING?! Just for HER?! Well, and Arlo, of course. It was far more than she had ever expected! That nearly cheeky comment of sharing a room with Arlo earned the fae King a rather pointed look at yet, at the given moment, Abigail was almost too elated to be bothered by such teasing words. Rather, it was her best friend's comments of servants that made her hush him. "He's being nice enough to let us stay, Arlo!" She insisted, entirely unwilling to put them out too much. Heaven forbid they regretted this decision! Not when she had her first real group of adult friends!!!

The appearance of that Lasagna was, quite thankfully, rather distracting for the group at large, near immediately drawing her own attention. Her gaze shifted but briefly towards the two men across the table from her, eying which fork they chose if only to ensure she did the same. That sudden utterance of cutlery, however, drew her attention upwards and towards her best friend. "Umm, it's this one." She commented, reaching over to select that outer fork and, in turn, hand it to the man. She hardly expected the way his shoulder brushed against hers in that moment afterward, her attention shifting from her attempt to cut that lasagna into an acceptable bite-size piece. That sudden question of what Dorian had set to her, however, caused a hint of concern upon her features. He wasn't going to be mad at Dorian, right?! "Oh! No, no, everything's fine. He's.....wonderfully encouraging." She spoke after a moment, as if trying to find the right words while purposefully avoiding that inquiry as to what he was talking about. "I was just um....reminding him that uhh...he is getting married to Sebastian and um...he's very lucky to be doing so." She nodded as if this lie made perfect sense. Oh, God. She was lying now?! It wasn't totally a lie but enough of one that it almost made her nervous. After all, she wasn't supposed to lie to Arlo!

Thankfully, that mention of a party seemed to distract the men at the table entirely, that bachelor party was one she was sure they should enjoy, even if she remained wholly quiet on the topic. After all, it was supposed to be a men's only sort of night. That crazy wild night with lots of lots and lots of drinking - and....other things, if those movies were to be believed. Hm....maybe they shouldn't have a bachelor's party after all. Fortunately, any words she might have offered them died on her lips at the mention of gardens at Dorian's palace. That simple topic of conversation near immediately saw the woman perk up, her hazel eyes turned quite intently towards Dorian, excitedly awaiting that response of all that she had to look forward to. Their wedding was going to be awesome!
