Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

The stars in their orbits

Nadya remained where she was leaning against the large doorframe separating the kitchen from the living room watching her brother struggle with the tree. Of course she had had Christmas in her adoptive pack but she was so young when her biological pack was killed that she didn't have any memories of the holiday with them. So it was quite amusing seeing Tobias and Tetra in quite the spirit with tree and all. She hadn't expected them to show up, shoot she wasn't expecting that her brother would care to see her for quite some time given their last meeting, so was lacking in the present area. A part of her was contemplating finding a way to slip into her room so as to let her brother have this holiday with Isolt and not create any friction by their family drama being dragged into it. That was until Tobias got all demanding with them, indicating where each of them was allowed to stand.

With a raised brow Nadya left her vantage point to wander over to the tree and the place Tobias wanted her to stand. Equal curiosity and surprise etched her features as Tobias drew a wrapped towel and handed it to Isolt to unwrap. Oh there was certainly cats ears for her to wear but as Isolt delicately held the fabric to investigate even Nadya was able to recognize what it really was. A giggle escaped from Nadya, "Oh Tobi, I can't believe you got that." Well, perhaps on some level she could but it was still hilarious and at the same time so wrong. It was not exactly a visual she wanted introduced to her brain either, knowing what Isolt would be wearing with her brother caused a mental gag that if she ever saw in person she'd surely claw her eyes out. Thankfully she was snapped from the mental shuddering by Tobias shoving his present for her into her hand. She dutifully opened her creatively wrapped gift. The bag of shoes caused the young woman to pause and tilt her head unsure of first what it was she was presented with and secondly how to react. Most if not all of it was unusable but it was true that the though was there. "Um...thank you, there's, uh...a lot to choose from." Yeah, sure, that works simple and to the point without hurting his ego or starting one of their renowned cat fights. She straightened back up and with some surprising envy watched her brother get the best present simply because it was not inappropriate and actually usable.

"Well now we know what you'll be doing instead of all that paperwork." A simper of a smile tugged on her lips as she eyed her brother momentarily then looked back to Tobias who apparently was not done with his gift giving. It was odd enough for Tobias to get everyone else presents which showed he was thinking outside of himself but the soft toys placed into Nadya's hands showed abstract thinking. Up until that point Nadya didn't think Tobias was capable of thinking about or understanding anything that he couldn't physically see. Nadya blinked as she glanced down at the toys in her hand, perfect representations of herself and Tobias. "..Thank you." When she spoke it was barely a whisper. She had only just really started to accept the fact of her pregnancy and 'bond' with the cubs growing within her. To have the acceptance of one of her pack too was surprising and...welcome.

"Uh, yeah, turkey." Nadya followed Isolt's lead and placed her bag of mismatched shoes on the floor in front of the couch. However, she kept ahold of the toys and as she settled into a chair at the table delicately placed them off to the side of her place setting. "I don't have any present for you right now. I didn't know you and Aiden were coming over." While her brother was helping Isolt Nadya took the moment to find her voice again and talk to Tobias with a soft smile. "But...if you're really good Santa Claus will bring you lots of presents for Christmas." Well if he knew Santa wasn't real then he would simply correct her but if he still believed then she may have just found a way to keep him in check if only for a little while. Nadya fiddled with the silverware by the side of her plate then eyed his. "Have you learned how to use those yet?" She indicated Tobias' which a tilt of her chin. Nadya had never seen Tobias dangerously wielding a piece of cutlery, she was actually used to seeing him just shoveling the food into his mouth with his hands like a wild animal.

She didn't really give Tobias an option to use them as she wasn't about to have such a wonderful spread ruined by his haphazard eating habits. Nadya leaned over and took Tobias' silverware and placed them by her own for safe keeping and began to place the food on his plate for him. Once done she leaned back into her chair to watch her brother with a raised brow. "Have you ever even carved a turkey before?"
