Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Azrael

Only Fools Walk Where Angels Fear To Tread

Really, Azrael failed to see what was at all wrong with giving someone socks for a wedding present. They were easy, sensible, useful and cheap all at once. The Hunter assured they were akin to the holy grail of presents. Maybe it was not entirely traditional to gift someone as a wedding present exactly and yet if what Sera said was true then it hardly seemed like Raven was going to mind. She'd probably just chew a hole in them anyway. Like a dog. The Hunter keeping those words to himself all the same as Sera flopped back into that chair with a pout of sorts as if the prospect of having to buy Raven something less than fun was worth having a mood over. Azrael content to roll his eyes ever so slightly before that conversation shifted to his own work and that tracking device he'd had Jack build for him. It was a rarity in any sense for Sera to question him about his job. He hardly minded being asked, he supposed, it was simply a topic they rarely discussed. After all, work was work, Azrael mostly sure Sera thought he did too much of it as it was and yet the man had a habit of finding himself bored without someone or something to chase. In the very least he enjoyed being busy. Most of the time. Even if it was only something as mundane as paperwork. Maybe he had been forced unwillingly into this life- but he'd be damned if he did a bad job of it all the same.

The Aston Martin rolled easily into that car park a few moments later. Azrael barely having opened that door before his girlfriend was out and heading into the very heart of that festival he had brought her too. A part of the Hunter was entirely satisfied with her clear intrigued in his efforts even despite that uncomfortable sensation that tugged at his own figue when surrounded by so many supernatural creatures. Those very creatures equally aware of him in turn as several sets of eyes followed him down that pathway and toward that collection of stalls. Still, he supposed, he could manage for one day, even if only for Sera's benefit. She deserved to do something she liked didn't she? To spend time amongst her own kind? The blonde man making every effort, today, to assure her that he was....ok with that. At least, a lot more than he had originally been when they had first met. Maybe he never would love that magic and yet he could learn to deal with it in the very least. The hunter forcibly pushing away any of those desire to hunt anyone or anything as he let the young woman lead him towards those more traditional outfits that he hadn't seen a witch wear with any seriousness in over a century.

Not that he could say he damn well blamed them. There was nothing fitted about those black robes at all. They might as well have worn a bathrobe for all the good it would do them. Azrael commenting on that distinct lack of figure that outfit was sure to provide his companion only to be near teased with that idea of 'going native'. He could hardly help that wrinkling off his features. The idea of 'natives' prompting that image of....what he was mostly sure was hippies to the forefront of his mind. Organic, tofu eating, non-showering, non shaving hippies. Maybe that was not exactly what she had meant and yet that idea lingered all the same. Sera leaning suddenly closer toward him with that singular promise that she had every intention off ensuring she remained perfectly shaven everywhere. Azrael hardly capable of preventing those thoughts that turned within his mind then, that tease hardly lost upon him. The Hunter suddenly regretting having left that bedroom at all when those soft sheets and that closed door were by far the most appealing things he could think off in that singular moment. That soft sound tugging at the back off his throat as Sera made every effort to wander away, his hand reaching out effortlessly to grasp her own and tug her back against the hard plains off his chest. His lips lowering effortlessly to her ear to utter warning of sorts that he was entirely inclined to take her right back home again if these were the ideas she saw fit to tempt him with. Azrael entirely aware of that reaction he was capable of coaxing from her with those words alone as he gently released her. If he was going to be hot and bothered for the day he saw little need not to assure she was the same. That chuckle rising within his throat as her own words halted before she could finish them.

His own gaze shifted upward to see exactly what had captured her attention now, the man following her eyes toward that crystal ball. Great. It was probably possessed or something equally as ridiculous. Serafina naturally choosing to gravitate towards it, her hand encircling his own once more to drag him over to it with that insistence she wanted to try it. His coming here today had been concession enough, he was sure, the man only willing to embrace that magic so far. Touching an actual magical object requiring far more fortitude then he had prepared himself for today. His golden gaze flicking from the woman to that ball and back again. Sera making every effort to explain that it was some sort of....mind.....displayer. Azrael scowling at it even more. How bad could it really be? God, if he turned into some fucking goat she was never going to hear the end of this. Azrael near gritting his teeth as he reached out for that orb to place his hand upon it. The Hunter near flinching as is fearing it might somehow respond instantly to him and yet it simply felt....cold. Azrael eyeing that orb then. Maybe it was broken. Good. The Hunter contemplating moving his hand only for that smoke of sorts to begin to move within it. Serafina promptly telling him to shush. An irritable huff leaving him then and yet he kept his hand their all the same. What was she seeing? Was she the only one seeing it? She seemed to be grinning in the very least. Azrael eyeing those clouds himself in some effort to see....something. Was it supposed to be interpretive?

Serafina hardly made any comment as those clouds finally begun to give way. Azrael quickly removing his hand from that orb, affording it a brief glance downward to make sure it was still entirely intact. He hardly anticipated that kiss to his cheek. One eye lifting as he glanced down toward his girlfriend then in clear question. Serafina content to utter that she knew exactly what they would be doing tonight. Azrael glancing hurriedly back to that orb. Had it really shown her all that? After all, he knew damn well where his thoughts had been for the better part of that afternoon and yet.....he hardly found himself displeased with that prediction.

"That is the only crystal ball I have ever liked."

He commented simply, that simper finding his lips then, his thoughts shifting to consider exactly where he might like to begin that evening as Sera tugged him toward the next stand. The man considering how much off this festival Sera deemed necessary to see before he might be allowed to take her home to fulfil that prophecy. Those stalls selling trinkets and clothing readily begun to thin out then to be steadily replaced with what the hunter could only assume were plants and herbs off some kind. Azrael barely recognising most of them beyond those basic 'ginger' and 'garlic' and 'cinnamon'. He paused briefly beside one stall, the man eyeing what appeared to a near neon blue powder suspiciously. He could almost feel whatever magic existed within it from here, the man making every attempt to avoid it only for the witch selling it to hold it up towards him with that suggestion he'd like to inspect it more closely. The shift within that powder as it caught the breeze readily prompting that Hunter into a near sneezing fit as it tickled the inside off his nose with that accidental inhalation.

"Sera! Sera! I bloody breathed something in and now im fucking allergic to it, what the hell is it!?"

The witch holding that bowl of powder merely looked perplexed at best, Azrael oblivious to her lack of concern over his supposed allergic reaction. The hunter rubbing frantically at his own nose in some effort to brush off any of that ridiculous substance that might have, somehow, attempted to have itself breathed in all the more. Great. Fucking great. Who knew what that was? Who knew what it did? He'd probably grow a fucking tail now. Is he alright? That query from the witch towards Serafina only earned that selling woman a withering look. Azrael turning back to Sera once more.

"Seriously what does it do. Do I need medical attention?"
Why was that seller woman laughing!? At least...he didn't appear to be suffering any sort of ailment. Several more people having paused to look at him then. The Hunter at last folding his arms over his chest as if daring one more person to laugh. That crowd seeming to think better off it as they hurried on. Azrael content to near glare at them as they did. The man hardly known for his good temper at the best of times. Maybe this was another of those moments better forgotten even if he was mostly sure Sera would be content to remind him off it again later.

"Come on."

He muttered near under his breath then, Azrael content to lead that way away from that stand then and deeper into those stalls of food and recipes. The vast majority of those artefacts as foreign to the man as those herbs and spices had been. His features frowning slightly as he gestured toward one particular sign ahead of them. The stand so proudly proclaiming it sold cauldrons. Azrael eyeing them critically then. Several jars lined along that store front proclaiming them to be those very traditional 'eye of newt' and 'wing of bat' those objects within the jars looking....alarmingly like those very things. The faint hum of genuine magic emanating from that place seeing the Hunter pause all the more, his head lowered to offer those words far more quietly to his companion then.

"I haven't seen anything like that before. I always thought that 'tail of cat' nonsense was just rubbish. Is that really what that is? Even i can feel....something coming from that place. I don't know what is giving off that feel though. It might be the woman herself."

Azrael gestured loosely to that woman then, she hardly appeared old and yet few amongst that crowd paused, several other witches giving her a wide berth. Azrael unaware of that black magic witch he had found in that moment.

"Why are other witches going around her?"
