Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

His Royal Majesty

Dorian Ellington-Aragona

The King of Italy

How glorious that night had been. Each part of it. Dorian assured he could not choose a moment he had favoured amongst that plethora of good memories that evening had surely prompted. That moment in which he had seen Sebastian stand atop that aisle within that exquisite basilica had surely been once such memory he would not quickly forget. Those uttered vows equally echoed within his thoughts if only for the simple emotion they seemed to stir within him to consider. That first kiss upon the balcony was surely tied with that stolen kiss within the bedroom for just how sweet a moment it had been even if for two entirely different reasons and their entry to that reception, to so at last surround themselves with those family and friends they knew more readily, had been nothing short of satisfying for the Monarch. The grin upon Dorian's features failed to waver but even once as they greeted each of those guests in turn. How wonderful it was that so many of their friends might travel across the very world to be here today! Dorian so given to consider that, in all his years upon this very earth, the friends he had made within the city he had come to call home were by far the finest. The Fae King simply delighted to see each and every one of them.

That large chocolate fountain had proven to be a rather notable success. Dorian so readily noting that near every being present at that party availed themselves of it at some point. Those two weddings cakes proving equally as popular. Arlo, Dorian had decided, along with Chizue, had proven to be perfectly suitable entertainment for the evening, those musicians crafting those pieces just as Sebastian and himself had desired they might be played. That first dance they had shared together within that beautifully decorated ballroom was yet another one of those singular treasured moments Dorian was assured he would not forget for as long as he lived. That very first song they had ever danced too that night in Sebastian's back garden so providing the notes for that first dance as a married couple in a manner Dorian deemed wholly perfect. That singular song his husband had chosen to perform with Arlo and Chuzi in turn had readily prompted that soft chuckle from his own lips if only for the very joy it seemed to instill in Arlo. The younger vampire finally given that band he was so insistent upon them forming!

It was only after everyone had taken their seats and those first courses had been served that those speeches were offered by Giles and Matteo in turn. Any fear the Monarch had so possessed for just what his Father might offer the crowd at large was quickly put to rest. Matteo so possessing a rather astounding ability for words when he chose. Dorian readily aware of the emotion that seemed to stir within him at those mentions off his Mother and too- how distinctly proud that Frenchman was off him today. Matteo assuring that crowd at large that Dorian himself had never been quite so happy as he was with Sebastian. That rather lovely speech so finished with that singular tale of a time, some centuries ago, when Dorian had, in a moment of teenaged misjudgement and hot-headedness, banned the building of sandcastles on several italian beaches much to the utter amusement and irritation of the Italian people. Sebastian was, Matteo assured them, the new defender of Italian sandcastles and thusly appointed in charge of preventing Dorian so banning them ever again. The Fae King readily feeling that touch of heat to his features then, that almost sheepish look offered to Sebastian. After all, that was one story in which he had never quite admitted too. The room at large seeming to take great amusement in it as those applause rang out and Giles took that stage for his own speech.

It was some hours later and well into the early hours of the morning that the guests begun to take their leave after those final songs were played. Dorian near surprised to discover that Alexander was nothing short of an exceptional dancer when the mood should strike him. His Godfather not failing to attract the attention of several young women all of whom had been quite eager to dance with him. Matteo having proven near equally as popular. The Frenchman so making Elizabeth's year, he was sure, by asking the young housekeeper to dance. Dorian positively assured the woman was to faint were she to blush any more furiously. His hand so at last reached for Sebastian's then, his fingers entwining with it once more, the pair hardly having been far from one another for most of the evening as it was and yet Dorian so relished that closeness all the same as they offered those final goodbyes. The sound of music and laughter still ringing out from outside those palace walls as near all of Italy celebrated in turn.

How utterly glorious that evening had been and yet too, how eager he was to finally have his new husband to himself! Dorian remained near wholly content to lead the way back up that marble staircase and towards their own room. That entire floor almost completely empty save that pair of guards at the top of the staircase. Such calm quiet so entirely rare that Dorian was near content to savour it, that ready simper tugged to his lips as he lead the way along that quiet hall and to their own apartment. Those rooms within were largely darkened, the only true light visible from their bedroom where those large, ornate double doors had been left open. Some traditions, it seemed, having failing to die down within his own court. Dorian already quite assured of what they were about to find as he paused within the doorway of that bedroom.

That fireplace had been lit to provide both that warmth and light to the room, chasing away any chill that might come from that opened window that looked out across the city and offered the slightest of breezes that tugged as those fine curtains. The rest of the room was lit by a myriad of candles so placed perfectly throughout it to offset that night and too- to provide that effortlessly romantic air. Dorian quite unable to prevent that soft chuckle at the sight of the four post bed itself, so neatly made up in those red and gold sheets, a scattering of what he was rather assured was rose petals decorating those sheets. His staff, it seemed, had been decidedly busy and yet Dorian had readily anticipated it. To have the room as such was nothing short of tradition after all. The Monarch leaning effortlessly against the doorway then as he simply took in that sight, his silver gaze at last lifted to Sebastian.

"It is designed to be...encouraging. I think it is rather lovely. Even if I suspect I should hardly need encouragement to make our union properly official."

That soft chuckle rose effortlessly to his throat, Dorian shifting but slightly then to let his hands rest on Sebastian's waist, his lips finding his lovers own with every bit of sweetness from that wedding and eagerness from those moments before the reception. How he relished in that kiss! Dorian so having desired to kiss him in just that fashion for hours now. The Fae King at last pulling softly away as his head tilted but slightly, his lips pressing a single, near teasing kiss to Sebastian neck. Those words a mere whisper against his husbands skin.

"Tonight was perfect. Our wedding was perfect. I will not forget this day for as long as I live."

The Italian shifted slightly once more, leaning back just so as to meet that blue of his lovers gaze now, his arms lifting to drape easily about the man's neck. Sebastian shirt was still but slightly crumpled beneath those layers after he had so been forced to remove his tie and cut it up in that Italian tradition he had warned the man off and yet still seemed to baffle the vampire at large. The simple memory tugging that simper to his lips as the same as he simply regarded the man within his arms for several moments.

"I am so in love with you."

And how he meant it, each and every word of it, no matter how rarely that truth might be uttered aloud between them. Dorian positively looking forward to that lifetime that existed ahead of them. His gaze shifting but briefly to that beautifully made bed he had but every intention of ruining with that consummation. That near impish grin seeming to find him.

"I think we still have but one very important task left to do..."
