Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

He liked how supple and soft she felt in his arms, like she was completely relaxed, no guards or walls up. None were needed. He could let himself melt around her in the bed, protecting her in a safe cocoon that no one would penetrate without going through him. He knew that he would do anything for her. She wasn't fragile by any means but she was precious to him. He knew neither one of them had been looking for anyone when they came to Sacrosanct. She was looking for an escape from a world she wanted no part of and he was looking for an escape from monsters he had created out of pure intentions. He knew that he wouldn't be able to outrun his monsters but maybe he could hold them at bay just long enough to get the money together to make everything right again. Just maybe then he could find some semblance of peace. Until then, that night wrapped around Adelaide was the closest thing he'd ever felt to peace. He couldn't remember a more restful sleep.

He couldn't keep his thoughts far from her for the next two days. He had to fight the urge to go to the bistro, not wanting to crowd her. He wanted to give her space to think, to have a clear mind about him and them together. He couldn't think of anything he wanted more but he wanted her to want it too. He knew if he went there, he would just be a distraction and while most days he was rather amused at the way she couldn't seem to stay away from his corner, he didn't want anything to ruin the high he was still riding on from their night spent together. If that meant giving her two days then he could do that. He could give her as much time as she needed, as long as she could promise to come back to him. He wondered if she was doing so well staying away from him cause he was going absolutely insane.

He knew he was giving her time with Townsend too, time to explain their situation and hopefully gain some kind of approval. He knew better than to think Townsend would give them his blessing so early in the game but he hoped over time to change that. He knew how important Adelaide was to Townsend. He just had to show the Englishman that she meant just as much to him. She was quickly become the center piece of his world.

He tried his best to focus on the task at hand as the time grew closer but he couldn't help but steal glances out the window over his sink every so often, just to make sure she wasn't there. When he heard the car slowing down outside, he knew it was her and he felt goosebumps on his arms of anticipation. He exhaled a long breath, though he already felt his heart racing in his chest. He bet she didn't get this nervous about this night but he'd been on pins on needles, mostly from a great need to see her again, to know that she was indeed real. He raised a brow as he glanced out the window and saw her trail her fingers along the Harley. His lips curled up in a knowing smirk, wondering when he could take her on a ride again. The feel of her arms wrapped around his waist and her head against his back was another heavenly experience, just knowing she was along for the ride with him.

He couldn't get enough of that rebellious outfit she chose to wear. The jeans fit her just right, along with everything else and he never thought he'd be able to picture her in a leather jacket but it fit her just right too. She was a biker's wet dream. Those leather boots finished the whole thing up and made him feel very underdressed in his faded blue jeans that laid low on his hips and the black and orange Avenged Sevenfold tshirt he decided to throw on for tonight. His hair was still damp from the shower and laid out wild on his head, several strands falling in his face as he gave her a once over at the door. He couldn't help but tease her about running away when he noticed the backpack. He was glad to hear that laughter from her lips as she proclaimed that she never would. He pretended to be hurt, his hand flying to his chest. "Ouch. And here I was thinking you were ready to rough it out in the apartment complex with me." He smirked and winked to let her know he was joking as he stepped aside.

He expected her to just walk in but she paused to lay a hand on his chest and instantly he felt his skin come alive with the electricity crackling between them. He was sure she could probably feel his heart hammering in his chest as she leaned up to tell him she could find something he'd like more than what she's wearing. His smirk turned a little sheepish. "Probably wouldn't take much effort. You make anything look good. And nothing." He added with a darker glint to his eyes as he dared to put a hand on her waist and draw her in closer. For a moment he just stared in her eyes before he lenaed his face down and gently caressed her lips with his own. He couldn't help himself, he just had to taste her again. The kiss was short lived and oh so gentle, a testing of the waters so to speak. He didn't want to push too much. He just wanted to show he was definitely still interested.

He released her to let her walk into the apartment, her hand leaving a firey trail on his chest as she stepped to the couch and set down her backpack. She told him that it smelled amazing and he grinned before turning back to the grill. "I hope you like it. I got my favorite marinade and the steaks have been soaking most of the day so they should be nice and juicy. How do you like yours cooked, by the way?" He raised a brow in curiosity. The first of many questions to get to know her better. He flipped the steaks before checking the potatoes. They were almost done. Then he stirred the corn and added some more butter for sweetness. He turnet back to her just in time to have her all but pressed against him, her voice soft and dangerous as she mentioned dessert. He felt all the air pull out of the room with the tension as he swallowed again and smirked. "I thought I was looking at it." He raised a brow daringly as he wrapped both arms around her this time and pulled her flush against him. He could never get tired of this.

His eyes were carefree and nothing stopped them from showing the desire within anymore. The walls had all come down after that night together and nothing was holding him back from showing and speaking his true emotions anymore. He was free to tease right back and he planned on doing just that.
