Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

He knew he'd have to be patient to call Amelia his wife. He wanted her to have everything she could ever dream of in a wedding. That's what little girls did, right? He was sure vampires were no different. They probably all wanted the sparkly dress and the man of their dreams waiting at the end of the aisle and the flowers and the guests all misty eyed and applauding. He wanted everything to be perfect cause she deserved it. He watched for her reaction when she asked him what date he wanted for the wedding and he quirked a brow when he saw the instant surprise on her features. He knew she'd probably offer up an argue then so he was quick to explain why. Otherwise he'd be okay with marrying her today, tomorrow, end of this week even. He just figured maybe she'd want Tenley to be more of an active role.

Her next question made him thoughtful. Ah yes, her safety would always be a question. Even when she was older and strong enough to take care of herself, he didn't think he would ever truly be over protecting her from the world. He sighed. "If we keep the ceremony down to just those we trust with her safety and put up extra precautions, I think we can make it happen. If you want, that is. If you would rather her take a back seat for her own safety, I'll understand." He spoke softly, soothingly, his gaze watching her expression, trying to read her emotions on this subject. He wouldn't enjoy himself if she was stressing the whole ceremony about keeping Tenley safe. So if she would rather keep her away from it, he wouldn't be upset.

He watched her breathe and smiled, knowing that she was trying to clear her thoughts and let go of the stress. As he pulled her against his chest and kissed her head, she said she didn't know if she could even wait till tomorrow and he chuckled, smiling into her hair. "As far as I'm concerned, you're mine. Now and forever. You and Tenley are my life and no piece of paper will change that." She turned and wrapped her arms around his neck, peppering him with kisses which he eagerly returned. His eyes sparkled by the time they pulled back. He grinned. "Well, I wouldn't say no if you want to add a little role play....wife." His brow quirked teasingly. She laughed before turning toward the closet so he headed to put on some clothes of his own. Her wolf call made him strut a little more, acting like a runway model on the stage. He knew it probably looked silly but he didn't care. He felt like he could do anything around her.

At her growl, he smirked and grabbed for clothes. "You keep acting so eager and we'll end up back in that bed before you can blink, my love." He said softly toward her, but his voice had dropped into that low dangerous tone he used when seducing her. There was a definite promise in his voice. Then they sat on the bed and he watched her slyly as he rubbed her thigh, seeing that it was affecting her. At her question, he couldn't help but smirk and lean to whisper into her ear. "Always...." Before he leaned away. "I think I hear a bacon cheeseburger calling my name." He smirked and got up to head to the kitchen, but he was anything but done with her tonight. He turned back, his eyes questioning. They didn't get so many nights to themselves anymore. He was sure she wasnted to do more than be stuck at the house all night. "Want to go out after? We can check out that new night club in downtown."
