What You'll Find Here

Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Sebastian Ellington-Aragonafor pleasure seldom has a cure

There was, Sebastian was certain, a measure of bliss to be found in the aftermath of his wedding. The affair itself had been nothing short of grand, the world at large still gossiping over it even in the months afterwards. Every minute detail had been dissected from the guests in their halls to the designer brands of the pressed linens used as napkins. It was an ostentatious affair and yet, it was those moments distinctly for Dorian and himself that he treasured the most. Those vows, that evening after....all of it had been so much more than the vampire had ever anticipated he might find again. That prolonged honeymoon allowed the newly proclaimed Italian Prince the chance he greatly desired to simply bask in that love, much less the ability to be utterly selfish with his husband. In the wake of that wedding, that possessive side of the vampire had flared with a vengeance. Those very weeks had allowed such instinctual needs to be met, even if part of him was remiss at their need to return back to Sacrosanct and Dorian back to the affairs of running a country. They had only been back a week and already he was missing that life overseas.

A soft breath left his lips as he leaned over the fence, his bright blue eyes settled upon his husband as he watched the fae King smoothly mount that ebony stallion beside him. How regal he looked there, settled upon that horse like the very King he was. It only made the vampire's thoughts shift to daydream of what things might have been like if he had met Dorian far earlier, perhaps back in his own era, as impossible as it was. His watched as his lover's attention turned towards his godfather, the near ancient Dark Hunter had taken the opportunity to spend time with the Italian Monarch whilst Sebastian intended to be otherwise occupied for the night, and yet, how....restless it made him feel to have Dorian away from him after being at the man's side constantly during the past few months they were away. Such pining, thankfully, was interrupted only by the sound of a familiar voice calling out to him all too casually. Those bright blue eyes glanced over his shoulder, providing the fellow vampire with a warm grin. "Hey Arlo." He uttered, stealing one final glance towards his husband before his attention was redirected towards the far younger fellow.

Sebastian turned towards Arlo as the man joined him, his hand easily fit within into his companion's own. "It's good to be back." He retorted, though how true such a sentiment actually was still remained to be seen. Sebastian turned back towards the fence, leaning against it all over again as his bright blue eyes rapidly found his lover all over again. He listened as Arlo called out his own greeting towards his husband, one that was responded to with a small wave as the Monarch rode past them on that ebony stallion. Arlo's movement within his periphery at the closeness of the stallion drew his bright gaze towards the man. The younger vampire seemed almost....uncertain of the stallion, enough to prompt a bemused simper upon his features. His age was certainly showing in that moment. Even that hardly prepared him for the sheer astonishment of the draft stallion that followed behind Dorian and his slender steed. Sebastian could hardly help that chuckle on his lips at the sound of that cursing upon Arlo's lips. His head bobbed ever so slightly at Alexander's announcement, "Have fun, Ma Bichette." Sebastian called out to his lover, only for his attention to return solely to Arlo alone as the pair of horses headed towards the forest. Poor Stella, his own mare hardly seemed as pleased to be left behind but, for tonight it was a necessity.

His head bobbed very so lightly at that inquiry of his own tendencies to fret over Dorian's safety. "That thing, is a horse. Dorian's been riding horses for at least six hundred years now. I'm fairly certain he knows what he's doing by this point. Besides, he has Alexander with him, nothing's going to happen with Alexander there." Dorian's god-father, after all, practically invented many of those equine techniques. If anyone was capable of keeping that horse under control, it would be Alexander. "Yes, they can sometimes come when called, Stella does but she's pouting right now since I didn't take her to join her lover." He commented with a roll of his eyes. She had, after all, taken quite a fondness to Dorian's own stallion. His gaze briefly fluttered towards the retreating form of the Monarch before Dorian disappeared from his view, prompting a soft sigh from the vampire. God, how ridiculous he had become in the weeks after their wedding. What had happened to Sebastian's tendency to remain distant? How had his veritable obsession with Dorian gotten worse? He pushed that thoughts away from the King as Dorian began to speak of Abigail and his own newly developed relationship.

His eyebrows rose ever so slightly at the mention of a whole list of affairs that he had to speak of, though what had lingered on Arlo's mind, he truly couldn't say. His attention, however, piqued with the very mention of those papers he had asked Arlo to retrieve from his childhood home. "Oh? Did you?" Sebastian inquired with a clear note of surprise. Any further mention of those papers, however, were surely to come after his own honeymoon. "Oh, it was nice, we went to Sweden during their polar nights and hung out on the beaches in the Galapagos and....I took Dorian to his first music festival in Barcelona." The very mention of it, and how astonishing the whole affair had been to his lover prompted a grin on his features. "Oh, and we got a new dog...he was gifted to us. How is Abigail doing, by the way?"At the very least, it was only polite to inquire after the girl just as Arlo too had asked after his own honeymoon. The mention of that painting in the hallway, however, prompted a soft chuckle to his lips. "Ahh...yes...it's abstract art. It's not supposed to be anything really." Rather, it was meant to be something meant just for them. How glorious that afternoon had been!
