Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

His Royal Majesty

Dorian Ellington-Aragona

The King of Italy

It was entirely curious to him in every sense that such a simple thing as toast might so suddenly seem so terribly appetising. Dorian, in most instances, holding decidedly little interest in food beyond so occasionally trying a new dish or local delicacy that the people of whichever country they visited seemed insistent on Sebastian and himself partaking in. Yet, here and now, that lightly buttered, toasted bread seemed by far the most appetising food. His very body seeming to crave it as it struggled to overcome the effects of last nights inhebration. Dorian so hardly choosing to question it too terribly. His thoughts instead inclined to consider that matter off his own legitimization his legal team insisted they were handling. Matteo's lawyers having joined those negotiations in the past few days. His pending legal status as Matteo's son so evidently affecting some matter of inheritance, though Dorian had hardly questioned such a thing in any great detail. The Monarch so insisting he would show his husband that terribly fancy document his own people had received just recently, Sebastian nodding readily at this notion of wills and inheritance. Those legal matters, he knew, so eternally capturing his lovers curiosity.

Dorian near eagerly reached for his second piece of toast in that moment, the Monarch shifting that conversation to that trip to Corsica they were but hours from taking and indeed the very curiosity he so held over just what the people of that island nation might have chosen to gift them with. How terribly he hoped it would not be another piece of furniture! Least of all a dining room chair set. Their palace positively overflowing with such things as it was. Several off them so decidedly obscure they would never truly have use for them. That very chair set Greece had bequeathed a near perfect example of that veritable clash of styles. Sebastian's query on just what it had been so prompting that amusement to the Monarch's features once more, his head shaking softly.

"I fear I do not have a picture but I shall show it to you when we return. It is a sort of blue and white creation with what I truly suspect is the Greek flag patterned across the seat. It is quite the statement of Greek pride."

That soft chuckle so easily found his lips in that moment, that very chair set by far one of the most gaudy they had so been gifted and one Dorian wholly suspected Alexander had not been made aware off before it was gifted. The Monarch so struggling to believe his own Godfather might have such poor taste in furniture as that! It was that very white pill then, resting unobtrusively on the side of that breakfast tray, that so seemed to capture the Monarch's attention. Dorian's fingers reached to pluck it neatly from beside his plate before turning it about with clear curiosity. What on earth it was remained entirely to be seen, that very query uttered but a moment later as Dorian so lifted that very tablet to his lips only to allow his tongue to brush over it experimentally. That rather hateful taste near instantly assaulting his tongue. What a perfectly horrid food! It had hardly occurred to the Fae King that it was so meant to be consumed whole. This his very first experience with any sort of modern medicine in any sense. Sebastian quick to apologise before handing him that glass of apple juice with a small simper. Dorian so allowing his gaze to flick between that pill and his lover as he contemplated those very instructions and that near soft lamination from his husbands lips that it might surely taint his blood with its effects.

How curious it was that those very words might prompt that small frown to his lips. Dorian never before so having considered just how decidedly important that very taste off his blood to Sebastian- was to himself. A part of the Monarch decidedly....prideful perhaps, in that singular notion that his blood was by far the finest that Sebastian enjoyed amongst that plethora of others he surely tasted to keep his hunger satisfied. It was...silly and yet the very idea his blood might somehow be made displeasing, even if only for a short time, was enough to see that small pill returned to the tray with a simple shake off his head. A headache, after all, was a headache. It would surely pass without any need for such a terrible pill. Dorian affording his lover just that very insistence as Sebastian eyed him near warily only to assure him that, once swallowed, it hardly tasted terrible at all. Dorian so allowing that warm simper to find his lips once more.

"If my headache should become truly terrible i shall reconsider it then. I promise."

That very concern, he knew, so came from Sebastian simple care for him. That very notion so inclined to prompt that near feeling of warmth within himself even if he so hardly chose to inform his lover off the very truth behind his refusal today. Dorian instead choosing to rise from that bed at last. The veritable world threatening to spin in that moment and yet he was quick to recover that balance. His efforts to distract Sebastian from that concern for him by insisting it was surely time they got dressed resulting in the vampires muttering and Dorians own chuckle once more. That very task of getting dressed took him perhaps a little longer then it so normally did. His very figure inclined to still feel near sluggish as he made every effort to find suitable attire and assure his tie was tied just right in the very way Sebastian had showed him. Sebastian, for his part, hardly failing to linger nearby without seeming to get terribly far in his own efforts to dress at all. Dorian s pausing in his efforts to return his shirts to his suitcase to glance back towards his lover then, that simper of amusement so finding his features.

"Darling, your hovering."

Ah, but how very much it so meant to him to Sebastian might do just that! Dorian readily finishing his own packing only to return to that bedroom and main living space, affording Sebastian every chance to finish his own dressing while he so attended to that matter of feeding his lover. He so hardly feared for any lack of control on his husbands part, rather he so simply refused to have Sebastian uncomfortable in any sense. That hunger so decidedly prone to making the vampire irritable in turn, those foreign dignitaries unlikely to appreciate such things. Dorian unwilling to have the very end of their utterly perfect vacation so tarnished by bad press. Those arrangements had no sooner been made then Sebastian himself emerged from that wardrobe, Dorian easily closing that distance between them to press his lips to Sebastian's cheek in that ready touch of affection. The simple scent of that glorious cologne so finding him them. That very scent so decidedly meaningful to them both and one he was sure he would always adore. Dorian readily admitting to those arrangements of sorts he had made to see to Sebastian's hunger, even if that very meal on offer was perhaps lacking those flavours he knew his husband preferred. The Monarch chuckling readily in response. A warm grin settling upon his features.

"Yes, I believe I do have some knowledge of your preferences."

His hand easily fit with Sebastian's own then. The pair affording that room a final, reluctant glance before Dorian so led the way out and into the hall and down to that reception desk to see to that checking out. Each member of staff they passed inclined to bow readily to the pair before they reached that desk. Dorian so allowing Sebastian to handle those matters off checking out. The vampire still by far more skilled than himself in handling money or payments of any kind. The young hispanic woman behind that desk proceeding to gesture down another hall with that offer to take Sebastian to see to that meal. Dorian's head nodding in that easy encouragement.

"I shall wait for you in the car."

The Fae King so easily waited for his husband to disappear around that corner before making his own way out of the hotel and to that sleek car waiting to take them to the airport where their plane awaited. How fortunate it was that it might so be night time! Even those street lights inclined to feel near too bright against his eyes. Yet- he could so hardly bring himself to regret but even a moment of that previous evening. Even if he so hardly recalled it all. It took but a moment for the Monarch to settle himself within the back of that car, his phone and tablet so fished from his carry-on bag. Dorian readily content to distract himself from the knowledge that another being might surely take the same pleasure from his husbands bite as he so often did. How terribly possessive of his husband he could be! Yet to- how readily he understood that requirement Sebastian had for more blood then he himself could provide. Dorian so entirely accepting of that very notion. His fingers easily dialed the first of those numbers to his own advisor within Italy. Benito so assuring him of the country's continued state of wellbeing. Dorian no sooner having finished that very call then his ipad so readily begun to chime, the Monarch so opening that cover to answer that Skype call. His personal assistant appearing upon that screen then.

"Emma, good evening."
"Good evening your Majesty, is His Highness not with you?"
"Oh, Sebastian is attending to another matter, he should be along shortly. We are about to head to the airport. I intended to call you this evening to see how things were progressing all the same."
"Everything is going quite well, there has been no trouble at all with Parliament and the legal team is assured issuing you a birth certificate with your true Father's name will in no way jeopardize the Monarchy. There is some paperwork for you to sign and Matteo too, although he has failed to answer his phone for nearly a week."
"He has had a guest staying with him of late apparently. I will try and phone him later for you. Did his legal team manage to sort out whatever it was they were required to look over?"
"Yes, French Law is apparently notoriously difficult to navigate when it comes to inheritances but his legal recognition of you requires a rewording of some sort to your share off his estates."
"My share? I am not the only benefactor?"
"N...no. There are three including yourself. Perhaps His Majesty might be better to discuss this with your Father."
"I am hardly concerned over any amount I am merely surprised I- oh, Sebastian has returned. I shall speak to you again later Emma, thank you."

How very baffling a conversation that had been! Dorian so closing that ipad as Sebastian settled into the seat beside him. That very colour and life so returned to his lovers figure easily bringing that simper to his lips. Dorian near assured he could feel that very warmth emanating from his husbands skin in turn. How gloriously....perfect Sebastian looked. Dorian so wholly inclined to consider just how lucky he was to have such a being as his very husband. That very very notion of his married status stirring that warmth to his chest once more. How much he...adored being married. That car pulling slowly away from the curb then.

"Feel better?"

That meal, in the least, should surely prove to make that flight far more comfortable for his lover and indeed those meetings with fellow dignitaries far more bearable. Dorian's fingers so taping lightly against that ipad within his lap then, the Monarch frowning slightly in consideration before offering Sebastian that knowledge of the call he had just missed.

"I spoke to Emma then, while I was waiting for you. It seems that all that is left is for myself and Matteo to sign some sort of paperwork to further that legitimization process. His legal team is also satisfied it seems and yet Emma said something quite curious. Quite by accident she mentioned that I was one of three listed in Matteo's Will. I am quite certain Alexander might be another and yet who on earth is the third? Am I allowed to ask to see another person's will, is that....illegal? I am merely curious as to who it is. I didn't know Matteo had any close friends outside of Alexander or family outside of myself. My Father is a very baffling person."
