Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Azrael

Only Fools Walk Where Angels Fear To Tread

It was easily one of the better dinners he'd had all week. Maybe neither Sera nor himself exactly excelled in cooking- but they had both managed some level of expertise when it came to ordering in and, more so, they had managed to, finally, come to an accepted agreement on where to order from and just what dishes in turn. It had only taken 6 months or arguments. Azrael turned easily onto his own street then, his hands tucked into the pockets off his jeans as he moved briskly along that sidewalk. After all, he had come to discover long ago that if you looked busy- idiots needing help were less likely to stop you. The blond Hunter far more focused on merely reaching his home uninterrupted this evening. He had spent the past three nights within his girlfriend's apartment, most off his work this week located within Sera's end of town making it far more practical to merely live at her place for those few nights. A portion off his clothing already existing their permanently and yet he was hardly foolish enough to leave his own apartment uninhabited for more than a few nights. A few nights after all, was easy to explain, longer than that and there was every chance his colleagues on the Council might be inclined to question just where he was sleeping. He had kept his relationship with Serafina a secret for well over a year now. He held little intention of something so simple as his absence to many nights in a row drawing attention to himself.

Even so, he supposed, it was unlikely all the same. Had had sat on the council itself for years now, his record was nothing short of stellar. Every Hunter in this city save for Gia and Kat was ranked beneath him (Alexander something of a precarious entity he chose not to consider). To accuse him off any wrong doing would be distinctly....difficult. If not downright impossible without solid proof. The kind Azrael was distinctly careful not to leave about. He had, once, looked forward to returning to his apartment. Simple and unexciting though it was. He'd preferred being alone, he'd been relieved to shut out the rest of the world for even one damn night and yet more often than not of late his apartment just seemed....empty. Azrael having become decidedly used to Serafina's presence. In the least, he supposed, he might get some manner of work done without the bewitching woman to distract him.

His golden gaze shifted toward his building, that near subtle movement beside the garden readily seeing his eyes narrow, each and every muscle within his figure tensing near imperceptibly in response to that possible threat- only for those supernatural senses to readily insist that it was another Hunter. His toned figure inclined to relax ever so slightly. Still- he had hardly been anticipating visitors tonight. That irritability he was near famed for readily prompting a scowl to his features at the idea of his evening so surely about to be interrupted. Azrael content to eye the other man readily now as he approached. His face was unfamiliar. He wasn't council. He wasn't one of the regular Hunters he oversaw in this district either. A new transfer maybe? Were they expecting him to train someone? Maybe this was what those two missed calls on his phone had been about. Still, business was business. Azrael nothing if not dedicated to his work all the same. The hunter more than capable of that professionalism when it suited him. His hand reaching to take that one he was offered from this- Ezekiel.

"Pleasure- and you can call me Az, if you like, or Azrael. I haven't used Alekai in...christ...fifty years."

It was almost strange to hear that name being said. Azrael hardly opposed to it in any sense he'd simply stopped...using it at some point along the way. It was the name his family had used, after all, and there was hardly any of them left to call him by it. So why bother with it? Ezekiel's insistence that he was here on orders from someone higher up then Azrael himself readily prompted that raise of a singular brow as the Hunter withdrew his hand. Some small part of himself near instantly weary of just what this was about and yet, his features remained flawlessly impassive all the same. After all, it was hardly unusual for other Council members to send Hunters to him if they were searching for any of the supernaturals that fell beneath his jurisdiction. A part of the man decidedly curious all the same. His head nodding a moment later as he waved the other man to follow.

"Might as well. This way."

Azrael easily mounted those steps then before leading the way into the foyer of that building and up several flights of stairs before fishing the keys from his pocket to open his front door. That apartment within nothing short of basic in every sense. That furniture minimalistic and no more than he needed. After all, until he'd gotten his position in this city he'd spent most of his life moving from one place to another. Azrael flicked on the light before stepping aside to let the other man in, his keys tossed onto the bench then before he gestured toward that dining room table and the two chairs positioned around it. The blond Hunter briefly crossing that room to step into his own bedroom before returning with that armful of ordered files to place on that table in front of him. Azrael taking his own seat then opposite Ezekiel, one hand resting on that stack of field before him. The man nothing if not straight to business.

"Which supernatural did you need information on? I've downloaded most of their files into hard copy, any I don't have are probably on my database. The only ones I cannot legally provide you information on are the Fae King Dorian....Whoever Arago and his husband Sebastian The Vampire Lord of London or whatever the hell he is. Both of them are residents in this city but they have diplomatic immunity from the Council and any matter regarding them can only be legally dealt with by the Council in Italy all the same so if its about them you don't have the clearance. Most others I can probably help you with though. What is this regarding exactly?"
