Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

As the shirt was removed from Sterling's body, Henry took a moment to look at the figure of his lover. It had been so long since he had been this close to Sterling with so few clothes on, but he couldn't think of another place he would rather be. He told Sterling that he wanted to show the man something, hoping that he might accept his gift. He was nervous about showing Sterling what he was now able to do, but at the same time, he hoped that Sterling would understand that this was his way of physically and emotionally healing the scars which had formed from his attack.

Leaning up, he straddled himself over Sterling's hips, finding that in the heat of the moment, his own jeans were beginning to feel a little tighter in the crotch than he remembered them to be. He said nothing, however, his focus one-hundred percent on his boyfriend.

Eyes shown down onto Sterling's as the small orbs of light came closer. The light danced over his skin for a brief moment, accentuating the scars. Seeing the scars made Henry's heart ache for what he had done. His hand drew forward to the scars at the top of his chest. Slowly, his finger traced along the raised edges. There seemed to be almost a glow about the tip of his finger. And as the glowing finger traced along each of the scars, the scars seemed to disappear. And any adhesions that might have formed beneath the skin's surface (those that might have caused Sterling pain) were suddenly non-existent.

His eyes looked up to Sterling, hoping that he was understanding just what Henry was doing to his body. His tender touch was not sexual, as it might have been just moments before. Now it was working to take away all the pain of what he had done. While his finger would never be able to remove the emotional pain, perhaps it would be able to remove the constant reminder of just what sort of animal he had become.

His fingers worked downward, removing the scars along his chest and abdomen before pausing just above the hem of his jeans. He broke the healing contact just long enough to remove the belt holding his jeans up. Slowly, he unbuttoned the jeans and unzipped the zipper, letting the jeans fall open. He gently tugged at his boyfriend's boxers, not enough to remove them completely, but enough to expose the largest of the scars, the one that Henry hated the most. It was then that he used his affinity to remove that very scar, leaving his boyfriend with no mere constant reminders of what had happened on that boat.

With the scars melted away, Henry looked back up at his boyfriend, hoping he appreciated the gift he was trying to give his boyfriend. "I've been working hard to master this..." He paused a moment. "Those scars, they haunt my dreams and I'm sure they do so much more to yourself. I'm so sorry I hurt you..." He leaned forward, letting his lips caress those of his boyfriend, this kiss far less heated and filled more with affection. He was truly sorry for all that had happened to Sterling. He hoped the man could truly forgive him.
