Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

fading into oblivion

kissing death and loosing my breath
Her stormy gaze remained steadfast upon the male as her fleeting whisper left her lips, baring the truth of her wants within that moment. She knew she should have feared him - after all his species had dedicated their life to killing her kind for the supposed monstrosities that they were. And yet, to date, she had no reason to be terrified of the man that sat in front of her. Not once had he turned his blade upon her, not once had he pointed his arrows at her, not once had she seen that desire echoing within her despite his harsh tone and the occasional discussion of her mortality and his ability to murder her. Briefly her eyes stared within his golden gaze, hers searching his only to find him pull away from her abruptly. A small frown marred the girl's features, a soft sigh leaving her lips and there is a decided sadness about her in that moment - one that is forced away moments later by his command to take him into the largest room of her home. Her efforts to jest seemed to have been lost upon him, however weak they were. She watched in silence as he pulled his hooded jacket over his head, the hem of the black shirt underneath rising slightly in the action. She was hardly oblivious of his attractive physic and yet she hardly let her eyes linger upon him. The want was painful when the girl seemed to be constantly rejected at every turn.

His words, however, slowly drew her attention back towards him, a small shrug crossing her shoulders. She had never been one to terrible care about how "appropriate" her life was. Once upon a time she had to steal even the most basic of necessities. At nights in her youth, she had dreamed of living in a place like this, of having a man like him dote upon her. They had hardly turned out exactly in the fashion that she had anticipated. She watched intently as he turned towards her, apologizing for all the things that she had already forgiven him of committing, most of which she had given particularly little thought to to begin with. Serafina's eyebrows furrowed ever so slightly as she considered what one thing that he could possibly be referring to. She hardly had enough time to contemplate the puzzle before his finger slid over the front of his phone, the small device reacting immediately to fill her living room with it's enchanting classical melody. Her head tilt slowly to the side though she remained entirely silent, waiting for the pieces to fall into place.

Thankfully, Serafina hardly had to wait long to connect the dots as Azrael reached out to her with his offered hand. She hesitated, but only ever so slightly before she found herself stepping towards him. Azrael was entirely impossible to deny, even if the Dark Hunter was entirely blind of his affect upon the girl. If he wished to kill her, Serafina likely would have walked into his arms a welcoming it. It was peculiar. Never the less, his suggestion that perhaps, just for one night, he might have been willing to break all of his fiercely self imposed rules managed to brighten Serafina's features. A bashful simper broke out upon her sweet heart lips as she reached out, letting her fingertips brush against his. The young girl stepped into him, letting the man lead her across the dance floor in time with the music, her gaze slowly fluttering towards in before flickering away in a fashion that was far too demure for the other wise abrasive, aloof, and sardonic demeanor.
