Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

we built this city on broken glass

There was a llama. In his backyard.

Frost continued to linger upon the very outskirts off that party. What little off his violet gaze could be seen lingering upon that long-necked creature that seemed to be attracting a great deal of attention from parents and children alike. Frost, content to eye the animal with a wary disdain as it happily chewed upon his lawn. How...curious that he might find himself feeling territorial over a llama. Let alone that multitude of parents wandering around his yard. This...decidedly more social then the often stoic Alpha was truly comfortable with. The snowy-haired man making that effort for Nadya and the children alone. Micah and Isabella seeming equally delighted by their friends presence, a part of him decidedly pleased to see them embracing that childhood he himself had never had and yet he was distinctly unused to so many beings lingering upon his territory and within his space. Several off them other supernaturals in turn. Frost continued to lean against that garden shed, that very position affording him a view of the entirety off his yard. The Icelandic man distinctly unaware in that moment of just how decidedly intimidating he appeared to the rest of that crowd. The vast majority of those parents holding little idea how to approach him, much less seeming able to decide whether they were brave enough too to begin with. Perhaps it was for the better.

Frost's hand reached toward the nearest table, grabbing a handful of gummi candy from the bowl. The food, if nothing else, was wholly satisfying. Frost having managed to near commandeer that entire table for himself. His sheer presence having scared the parents and children away from it, leaving the stallion to enjoy that entire selection off food alone. How satisfying. The sound of someone approaching readily saw the man turn his gaze sideways, that young woman, braver than the rest readily wandering towards him with glass in hand before plucking a chocolate mint slice from the plate of treats beside Frost himself. The war horse frowning slightly at the loss of one off his hoarded treasure. "So you must be Frost right? Nadya's partner. I'm Lisa Hughes. Logan's Mother." She paused, as if that name should mean something to him. Frost affording her the courtesy off his gaze even despite his distinct disinterest in her existence. Where was Nadya to rescue him from this?

"Pleasure."

He offered simply. The woman seemingly buoyed by his acknowledgment off her before she visibly started at the sight off his eyes. "Wow, those are some seriously unusual eyes you have there." Her hand lifted, tucking a few strands of brunette hair behind her ear before moving to lean against that table, one leg folding over the other in an almost.....flirtatious fashion. Frost merely allowing one eye to lift upward. "It's really great you doing this you know, especially with them not being your children and all. My ex would never have done this. Not that he did anything like this for Logan anyway. I mean, after we divorced...." How old was this woman? Frost eyed her near critically then, her words all but tuned out before she commented on how very much she enjoyed the 'strong silent type'. That stallions gaze lifting, those distinctly harsh words already upon his lips before that sudden tug at his shirt saw the man glance doward. Micah so apparently his saviour. The boy having wandered away from that puppet show. Frost reaching easily down to take Micah's hand then. A glance given to Lisa once more.

"Enjoy the party."

That, it seemed, was all he had to offer the foolish woman as he moved to lead Micah through that crowd and toward Nadya then- Frost having spotted her only moments ago beside that pony ride as she helped Isabella onto the small animal. How much that little girl looked like her Mother and yet- how much off her Father she had in her. Micah very near the opposite. The boy near the spitting image of Tobias and yet he was almost....fearful of the world. Frost a veritable island of safety for the boy amongst that crowd. Micah content to squeeze between Nadya and himself, one arm wrapped around each of their legs as Frost rested upon that fence beside his girlfriend. Those soft, cool words uttered quietly to her alone then. A faint touch of amusement lingering within.

"Lisa has spent the past ten minutes telling me at length about her divorce. I may require you to stand next to me for the rest of the party. She might come back. I was forced to yield my table to her. I plan to take it back."

He gestured loosely to that table he had all but managed to keep to himself for the past hour. His features frowning slightly before he gaze shifted to Isabella, watching her circle on that pony before returning to Nadya.

"Is this a bad time to tell you I got them a pony for their birthday? They are more then old enough."
