Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

His Royal Majesty

Dorian Ellington-Aragona

The King of Italy

The pleasant warmth of that bed had been nothing short of eclipsing. The sound of the rain outside and too, the veritable knowledge of the cold and snow that layered the busy English streets below somehow made that warm bed all the more enchanting. How utterly glorious it had been to wrap himself in those warm blankets, to snuggle agianst Sebastian's side and listen to the rain outside before he fell asleep. Dorian assured such a thing was very near perfect. The Monarch having quite come to adore England, not only for the notion it was his dear husbands very homeland, but to, for the very country that it was in all its intriguing history and rainy weather that made those warm fires and beds and baths seem eternally more wonderful. Dorian, within those early hours of the evening, was utterly lost to that sleep. The Monarch having become nothing short of adapt at sleeping well in nearly any country they visited so provided his husband was beside him. Sebastian's presence alone so prompting that feeling of safety and security that coaxed him so easily to sleep on most evenings. It was however, Sebastian's very presence once more that so disturbed that plethora of dreams that danced behind his eyes this very evening. Dorian aware, dimly, of the vampire moving beside and agianst him before he felt his husband settle atop him. The Monarch's lip very near inclined to quirk upward in simple response to that gesture before so settling himself once more. Dorian, after all, was nothing if not used to his husbands early evening movements. That sleep still tugging strongly at him as his husbands fingers trailed sweetly along his jaw, his name upon the other man's lips.

How readily those tender touches and too that accented utterance off his name had stirred him into wakefulness and yet, the Fae King had learned long ago that to simply pretend he was still asleep so often prompted those further efforts from his lover. Dorian wholly content to assure his breathing reamined decidedly even and wholly steady, as if still within that realm of sleep, his heartbeat equally so- after all, it was so often his heart that betrayed him when it came to Sebastian. The vampire more than capable of hearing those quickening beats even without the ring upon his finger! His very efforts, it seemed, had been nothing short of convincing. Sebastian leaning forward a moment later to press his lips to his own in that tender, wholly chaste kiss the Monarch was more then willing to receive. His husband settling upon his chest once more only to inform him it was surely time to wake up. Dorian so allowing one eye to open just so as to spy his lover, that very action so surely giving away how awake he truly was and yet how quickly he so attempted to cover that very fact by lifting his hand upward to rub at his eyes! That very grin upon Sebastian's features so prompting that warm simper upon the Monarch's own. Dorian wholly assured he had been caught out and yet how willingly he allowed his fingers to interlace with Sebastian's own. That feeling off his lover atop and agianst him nothing short of glorious. His gaze following his husbands own then to where their hands remained interlaced and that wedding ring upon his own finger was distinctly clear. That very utterance off 'Happy Anniversary' so coaxing that all but beaming grin to the Fae's features then as his silver gaze returned to that striking blue of Sebastian's own. Dorian leaning smoothly upward then to press his lips eagerly to his husbands own in a kiss far less chaste then Sebastian had afforded him only moments ago. That simple feeling of his husbands bare chest agianst his own equally as enticing. Dorian wholly content to find himself distinctly needy this morning and yet surely, on their anniversary, such a thing was wholly permissible.

"Happy Anniversary, Bastian."

How very much he adored those words! How quickly that year had gone! Dorian wholly content to relish in that notion he had been a married man for an entire year now when once he had so believed he might never marry at all. He leaned easily forward once more, stealing but another softer, sweeter kiss from the vampire before settling beneath him. This, so simple as it was, to merely lay in bed and beneath those sheets with his lover, by far his most favoured part of those evenings. That pressing engagement, a meeting with the Queen of England no less, hardly seeming so pressing at all in those moments. Dorian utterly uninclined to make but any effort to leave their bed at all. Surely they were permitted such things upon their anniversary! Sebastian's very words all but echoing his own sentiments then. A soft chuckle humming easily from within his own throat. Dorian so lifting one hand upward then to push those stray locks of hair from his lovers features in a gesture wholly affectionate. How very much he adored Sebastian's 'bed' hair.

"Because, Mon Cher, it was the only night both of our schedules permitted it, save for this coming Sunday and such a thing would have so required her to reschedule her evening attendance at Church and you were not inclined to come between her Majesty and God. Although really, I think it was terribly ambitious of us both to agree to meet with her on our anniversary, we must have been far younger and far more foolish when we agreed to such plans."

How readily that tease so fell from his lips. The pair having agreed to those very plans only two days ago and yet Dorian was assured that they had been 'younger and more foolish' two days ago then they surely were in this moment when their bed was by far the only place he so desired to be! How easy it was to lean upward once more, Dorian wholly content to roll and shift their positions to place Sebastian beneath him now. The Fae King content to shift just so as to straddle his lover now, that sheet so pooling about his waist as the rain outside continued to fall agianst the window and the fireplace upon the far side of that room, stoked by one of those servants, continued to surrounded them in that warmth. The Monarch so looking down upon his lover with that clear affection. Dorian interlacing both their hands once more before leaning forward, lifting Sebastian's arms above his head to all but pin them to the bed beneath his own. His lips so again finding the vampires to steal but another sweet kiss.

"Darling, you have that look on your face that you have when you worry. I know it very well. You really need not be anxious for this meeting, I know I cannot stop you worrying, I know it is important to you, but all will be entirely well. I promise."

How readily he knew of those anxieties that tugged at his lovers heart! Sebastian having spoken to him of just those very things but the day before. This meeting distinctly important to his husband and yet- Dorian was assured there was little need for concern all the same. Her Majesty had, so far, been nothing but gracious towards them. England having afforded them a wedding gift along with its congratulations on their marriage. Dorian assured relations between their countries were both sound and peaceable and that Her Majesty would surely find so fault in Sebastian at all. That impish grin so found it's way to the Fae's features then. Dorian wholly content to distract his lovers mind from those worries all the same as his lips pressed to Sebastian's jaw before moving downward to brush across that ever-sensitive skin of his neck the Monarch so adored to tease at if only to garner that reaction from him. Dorian equally as content to make use of his husbands utter lack of clothing and that newfound position, his hips shifting ever so slightly if only to steal but all of the vampires attention. The Fae King so momentarily appearing thoughtful.

"How long do you suppose we have before we need get ready? Do you think we have time for my to sufficiently distract you from your worries? Unless, of course, you would rather worry?"

One eye rose just so as he met the gaze of the man beneath him then. Dorian wholly assured they would surely not have very much time and yet morning so often made such things distinctly easy if only for that rather natural readiness that so came with it. How very much he abhorred to see his lover worry! Even if, he knew, such a state of being was very much within the vampires nature upon all manner of things. That simple affection for his husband clear upon his features all the same.

"I know I have said it so many times before, but I really do enjoy your hair when it is all....messed like that. I find it cute."
