Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

The smugness on his face was plain as he exited the landlords office, and she quietly wondered if the man would have it out for her after this because of it. Surely he couldn't have been pleased to have been suddenly roused from his warm bed on such an evening, but then again if anyone could smooth over such a situation she didn't doubt it was Sebastian. She had never been able to put her finger on it, but he quite nearly exuded charisma and charm and she wasn't the only one effected she had noticed. There was a quiet thrill to having him follow her as she pranced away with the key to her new apartment, far enough to enjoy the view yet close enough that she could see his hand reach out a few times when she stumbled as if ready to catch her in a moment. Her footing remained at least relatively stable however, and they made it to the top of the stairs in one piece before she skipped ahead and disappeared inside what was now her own apartment.

She waited patiently in the darkness for his frame to fill the doorway, her lips curling up into an elegant simper as he appeared. The proverbial cat and mouse, though who was who in their relationship may perpetually be a mystery. The purpose with which he strode towards her so boldly was enough to send a chill down her spine once more and reignite everything she had felt in the dark confines of the booth they had so recently inhabited, and to be honest she had felt a lot through the thin material of both their clothing when she was so curled up in his lap. She knew he wanted her, and there was no doubt that he knew her own intentions as well, and yet she had a feeling things would not progress any further than they already had tonight. A part of her mind whispered of that ring she had seen on his finger earlier, and yet how many men had she known to pay no mind to such limitations even used such things to mark her targets in a past life. She wasn't sure if his moral fiber was something she despised or appreciated. Would she think less of him if he gave into such base instincts as other men had been so wont to do?

All thoughts were quickly abolished from her mind as his wide hands spanned her narrow hips once more, his body leaning into her own in a way that made her loathe every fiber of clothing that separated them. His words were but a whisper, yet in the barren silence of the vaulted ceilings the murmured echo still reverberated in the charged air which surrounded them. "I suppose it will do," she purred thickly, the sarcasm heavy in her tones, "It is much roomier than a two door coupe, I'll give it that." Dragging her gaze away from his she let it roam the empty room, lingering on the even darker doorway that if memory served would lead to the bedroom. The place came partially furnished so inside should be at least a mattress, no matter how well worn it would sleep better than the cloth seats of the car where she had been living. Still, anything was a palace compared to where she came from.

As her eyes returned to his she raised her slender arms to twine them around his neck once more her slender fingers playing with the soft hair there, interested to see just how far he would let things go. Eager for every moment of it. "Are you going to help with my housewarming?" Her voice was hushed, heavy in the quiet as her eyes, brighter despite the darkness remained trained on his own searching for the answers she wondered if he would give. In another stroke of boldness, fully aided and abetted by the alcohol and venom in her system her hips gave one smooth gyration against his own accentuating the words that still hung in the air around then.
