Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

The very sound of the bathroom door creaking drew the Asian girl's chocolate gaze upwards with a hint of anxiety. She watched as the finely toned man emerged from the bathroom, that very lack of dress, much less the attention he drew to it saw that slight hue of pink that so rose to her cheeks. Her gaze turned towards her own hands, even if Chizue was well aware of every movement he made. Her heart seemed to thrum all the louder in her chest with each closer step he took towards her, the girl quite near assured even he might be capable of hearing it's fluttering. She was hardly prepared, however, as their conversation turned so pointedly towards the last evening the two had together. Chizue certainly hadn't forgotten it. Oh no, that would have been quite impossible if only for how much she'd thought falling into Malek's bed had been an improbability for her. However, like so many times within her life, the complexity of her own feeding often prompted her to act so incredibly out of character that, in the aftermath, Chizue was left merely picking up the pieces and redefining exactly who she was. This, was yet another one of those moments, though Malek seemed determined to haunt her far more than any of the other men whose arms she had momentarily fallen into. Her gaze turned from him with a vague hint of guilt, that embarrassment all the more intensified and yet, she found herself near struggling to put those words together.

That disappointed sigh upon her lips, however, prompted a glimpse near akin to horror upon the features of the young woman. The very last thing Chizue wished was to in any way downplay his...performance and yet, there a distinct difference in having sex under the influence of those emotions that hardly belonged to her. "It was....unforgettable?" She inquired tentatively as if searching for some approval that this was a far better adjective to describe that evening. There was a part of the demure Asian woman that needed to remedy that situation. It was, admittedly, hardly a lie though arguably not quite as unforgettable in the manner she suspected he might have desired. The last thing she expected, however, was for that glint of teasing to dip behind an almost sincere apology. That surprise was all too clear upon her features as her head tilted ever so slightly to the side. "I......you do?" She inquired, altogether baffled as to what he might have done to warrant such an explanation. That bewilderment, however, quickly dissolved into a hint of understanding, that very shift so clearly an acknowledgment of just how accurate he was, even despite Chizue's effort to brush off those concerned with a wave of her hand.

"Oh, please don't worry about it, you were....a gentleman." She responded with a small simper. It was, admittedly, hardly the most risque activity she had ever engaged within. That glimpse of inquisitiveness upon his features, however, caused a soft sigh to echo upon her lips as her chocolate eyes shifted briefly away from him. It was hardly a great secret, she supposed. After all, both Isolt and Damon were well aware of her eating habits and yet, she had always avoided discussing it if only for how different it made her. Though....she supposed he was rather different too. "I am what they call a psychic vampire." Chizue uttered, at last, her irises slowly fluttering back towards him. "I do feed off of emotions, not blood, so I can...see them....on people. If I feed only from one person, their emotions become mine. Sometimes it takes a few days to...find myself again." A soft, almost weak simper crossed her fair features and yet, there was little she could do about the process, admittedly. It was simply one of those things she had come to accept about her own....unique....condition.
