Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Navi Yemon
But if this is where I belong, I won't satisfy

There was always something so calming about settling amongst the branches of pine trees. The sweet pheromone of the needles passing through the breeze always made Navi fall into a peaceful slumber. She had fashioned herself her own home amongst the trees. It had become where she spent most of her time, hopping from tree to tree. It was like her very own intricate city amongst the top of the forest, for she had created nests gathered from natural materials that was spread out across the trees so wherever she was within the dense woodland, she would always have a more comfortable approach to napping.

It had been quite some time since she last spoke with another person, but she didn't mind it. Others minds, and emotions were so complex, it made her even more tired. Although, she had hoped at least to see Andras once since she declared to stay in Somnia. Yet he seemed to be like everyone else, only needing her at his convenience.
Today seemed to remain frigid and unforgiving with the weather so for now, Navi retreated to the lodge where she and the other members of the Shadow Court first visited in Somnia. The lodge was a catch 22 for her. It provided warmth and was somewhat a necessity for the harsh winter conditions that plagued Somnia, however she hated being indoors. It was as if someone was covering her mouth and nose to stop her from breathing. To her, it was restricting and uncomfortable. Well, except for the modern comfort of very soft blankets. She had made it a habit of taking the fluffy blankets and storing them in her nests throughout the forest. She wondered how many blankets the maid had to repurchase because of her taking off with them. Shrugging though, she didn't think too deeply into the matter.

The lodge was empty, and she seemed to be the only one there. Letting out a sigh, she rummaged through what was called a refrigerator for food. "Oh!," she exclaimed. The maid had somehow had the intuition that Navi would stop by, so there was a perfectly constructed ham sandwich on a plate with her name written on a note beside it. Swiping it with the mannerism of a hungry raccoon she retreated to the upstairs, grabbing another blanket on her way up. There, in one of the bedrooms Andras had provided her with a plethora of books. That would be her plan for the day.

Not long into the first pages of the book, there was a familiar sound. "Navi!" Sure enough, it was Andras annoyingly shouting throughout the lodge. Didn't he know how loud the echoes were? Wanting to give him the cold shoulder for not visiting for so long, she remained laying there, trying to find her place in the book yet another wave of his super sonic voice bellowed from down below. "Would you come down for a moment?" "Ugh," she slowly rolled over, stuffing the last of the remaining sandwich in her face and sluggishly retreated to the stairwell.

As she descended the staircase, she heard him rummage through the cabinets, uncaring of how loud the cabinets shut. She crouched at the bottom of the stairs, peeking to see Andras pour himself some whiskey and slowly recline himself onto the sectional. She got up and quietly stepped toward him. From behind, he seemed to keep his appearance clean cut as always, but there was something off about his aura. She moved toward to the fireplace where the whiskey decanter was placed, and she sat down across from him. She took him in, it seemed as though he was hanging on by a mere thread. With Andras, Navi had become a little more understanding with how her words affected him, so she decided to remain silent, staring at the man who seemed lost, trying to find his reflection in the glass of whiskey he held in his hand.
