Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

The gathering was going pretty well in his opinion so far. He was determined that this one at least end better than the last one when Amelia's water broke and he had to take her to her doctor to deliver Tenley. That was a hectic night. This time, things were much more calm and peaceful, though he could easily read the apprehension in Sebastian and Dorian when it came to his baby girl. To him, she was already an accepted addition to the family and to this world, just another child that needed sustenance and protection. It didn't matter to him that she sustained on blood or that she could probably break bones with her tiny hands already. She was and would always be his little girl. He had to remind himself that wasn't the case for Sebastian and Dorian. They'd had little to no experience with children like Tenley, just like the rest of the world. They would have to learn their way around her just like he did that first few weeks after bringing her home.

He wished he could assure them with no doubt that she would never hurt Dorian because of the fae blood in his veins. She'd had plenty of temptation with Troy around her all the time and she'd learned to harness those urges with an extraordinary amount of intelligence and willpower that left Troy in awe every day. Sebastian was polite with a smile and a "Of course" and Dorian easily chuckled when Troy made a joke about Tenley taking toys as collateral instead of hand shakes but he couldn't shake the feeling that neither of them would be doting over Tenley or offering to play with her any time soon like they would a normal child. She wasn't normal; Troy was well aware of that. He wouldn't take back any part of her existance or what made her who she is. He just wished sometimes that he could better protect her from outside sources that might judge her just like this.

Sebastian soon gave somewhat of an explanation for his hesitation with Tenley. He randomly offered that his own Maker was a vampire child. Troy's brows lifted at first in obvious surprise before his expression softened in understanding. He knew that vampires could technically be made at any age, though he knew it was frowned upon to bite a child. Still, it made sense that vampire children would exist in the world, just not ones that aged like Tenley. He tilted his head, wondering how far he could go on this curiosity of Sebastian's Maker without leading into questions the vampire might not want to answer. "Can I ask what your Maker is like? If this questioning is out of line, I apologize. I'm merely curious since I've never talked to a vampire child. I've seen them from afar, even hunted a few...but never actually gotten to know one."

He continued into the dining room with Tenley in his arms, leaving the conversation open ended so if Sebastian felt comfortable answering, he could while they sat down to dinner. Otherwise he could say nevermind and they could go on talking about something else while they ate. He listened while they talked about which blood they would have as he seated Tenley before taking his own seat next to Amelia. His hand reached out, gently rubbing her thigh under the table in a loving manner before the food arrived. Dorian asked if they would try for more children and his brows pinched together thoughtfully but before he could put his thoughts into words, Amelia jumped on it, letting Dorian know that they weren't trying for another. He smiled and nodded. "The doctor's still not even sure how this one happened so we're playing it safe."

The food smelled delicious when it came out. He brought the first bite to his mouth and made an "mmm" noise the minute it hit his lips. As Sebastian assured Amelia that she might very well be the reason Tenley was born, Troy couldn't help but smirk and gently squeeze her thigh in agreement. "She's definitely one of a kind." His eyes twinkled as he listened to her ask Sebastian for his theory. His own gaze turned to the vampire, curious of anything he might offer.
