Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

he was both everything you could ever want
and nothing you could ever have

It was, admittedly, Sebastian's own speculative nature that so saw the often closed off vampire admit even a word of his own making. Anna-Marie was, unfortunately, his only brush with vampiric children prior to this very moment - the petite blonde quite near set the standard upon which he judged all undead youth and yet, thus far, Tenley had proved to be the stark opposite of that cantankerous child. Still, the very mention of Anna-Marie so seemed to gain the interest of Troy, the man inquiring after her very nature if only for the very rarity of which vampiric children were. There was no doubt that the child was a...touchy topic for the Englishman and yet, he hardly anticipated that delicate brush of his lover's hand against his own, drawing his blue irises towards his husband. That gentle touch of....comfort was certainly appreciated, startling though it was. After all, Sebastian so rarely required that reassurance within the public eye, this certainly one of the firsts during the extent of his relationship with Dorian. Still, he attempted to provide the fae King with a gentle simper before his attention turned back to Troy. "I fear she is of the demeanor of a spoiled child at the best of times," Sebastian responded, the vampire choosing his words with particular care and yet, surely it was enough to gain some insight upon his maker's tendencies for tantrums.

He was, admittedly, thankful for that announcement of dinner, that inquiry upon his preferences for blood was one he easily brushed off out of politeness more than anything else. Nevertheless, the vampire's eyebrow rose ever so slightly at that suggestion of a donor who bathed with roses. How....intriguing her skin must smell. He said little of those internal thoughts, however, simply providing Amelia a small nod of approval in case she so sought his own thoughts of her choice. The vampire settled within his own seat at the dinner table beside his husband, his own blue eyes eying those plates of food with a glimpse of curiosity. Although the presence of fish hardly daunted him in the slightest, he was well aware of that royal protocol - fish was not usually served to them, just as they too did not usually partake in it and yet, neither Dorian nor himself were inclined to utter even a word of that faux pas. After all, to do so would be quite discourteous itself! Still, his own nose twitched ever so slightly, as he took a piece of that salmon, sniffing discreetly for any sort of foulness, the vampire nothing if not distinctly protective of his lover in every manner. It was only at his own satisfaction that the salmon was so placed within his mouth, the man more than willing to admit that the fish was nothing short of delicious.

It was his own intrigue that saw his attention turn back towards the conversation at hand - particularly whether or not either of the pair had decided to try for another child, now that they had so learned it a possibility afforded them. He hardly anticipated, however, the way that Amelia's gaze turned almost expectantly towards him. A glimpse of surprise crossed his features and yet, it softened at the very fondness within Troy's voice. That love between the two so blatant and yet, he could only hope that the public too could so clearly see his own adoration for his husband in the way he could so see it between Amelia and Troy. "Yes, I suspect she is. I suspect you might have a gift for life....of sorts. Have you fully come into your powers yet?" He inquired and yet, he hardly would have faulted the woman for keeping such information to herself. After all, to reveal one's gifts to another was quite an intimate affair. Even his own husband was oblivious to the true depths of all Sebastian could control. Nevertheless, his gaze turned towards his husband as Dorian inquired after the pregnancy in general, the thought certainly...inquisitive. Perhaps it too might shed further light upon that very mystery.
